The ignition cylinder on my 2001 Toyota was having problems turning. The car could not be started easily. The dealer quote was high, but he let slip that they were only going to call a locksmith. So instead of paying for a locksmith with markup, I called GT. They fixed the ignition cylinder. The same key works in all locks. And they reprogrammed my key fobs, all for less than half of what the Toyota dealer estimated.

GT Locksmith showed up 40 min late to the call. When arrived he stated he needed to charge me more than what was quoted because of a special machine he needed to use. Of course he doesn't accept card, so had to go to the ATM to get the additional $80 he needed. He wouldn't begin working on the car until I returned. Then I sat and waited for him to do the work. FYI this was supposed to be my lunch break and I already waited 40 min for him to arrive, plus had to go to the ATM and back, then wait for him to make the key. I called these guys and they told me it was a $29 service call, plus labor. I asked twice if they could give me an estimate of what that labor was going to be. I let them know it was a simple lock, but I understand what a customer says and what is reality is different.
So the guy comes, he is nice enough. Seemed like an OK guy to me, he looked like he could have done the job with no problems. I ask him what it is going to cost and he says $29.99 plus $179.95 for labor. I say that is way too much for this service. I let him know that I do not think this is right and I do agree to pay the $29.99

Quick service? Yes but Customer service is HORRIBLE.
I called and told the tech I have a 2012 Toyota Corolla and quoted 178 When he arrived he said he thought it was 2003, I said No I said 2012. The price will now be increased to 278 (looking back now i think he did this on purpose)
I told the tech I will be getting my keys back because I left them in an Uber but I didn't know how long it would take and I needed to go. He offered to wait until I heard from the Uber so I tried to contact again and they were not going to be returned until the next day. I told the tech I would proceed because

I thought it would be impossible to find someone to help with my complicated situation. I locked my keys in the trunk of the car w/o any way to open it (the interior latch was broken) I have two children and was an in a hurry to leave.
I made a few calls to local locksmiths and they were unable to help me because of logistics or ability - when I called Guy at GT locksmith I was immediately relieved with his celerity in answering the call, finding a solution, and his promptness with locating us.
Within 10 minutes he was here and it took about 15 minutes to find a solution to retrieving my car

I called Gt Locksmith to unlock my car door because I left the keys inside. They were quick to show up and unlock my door. But when I talked to the guy on the phone he quoted me $29.99, after the guy unlocked my door he charged me another $300 on top of the $29.99. I feel completely ripped off and had I known it would cost that much from the beginning I would have called another company. It should not cost $329.99 to drive 20 minutes to me and take another 2 minutes to unlock the car.

Guy provided excellent professional service. I reached out to him via yelp and explained exactly what I needed. He was very knowledgeable! I would definitely recommend his services. I initiated a quote through google and was bombarded with very aggressive locksmith. One demanded my exact location. I had to disconnect the call. Waited for my husband to get home anticipating the same aggressive approach from guy and it was quite the opposite experience. Thanks again for your service and quick repair!

We somehow managed to lose our key today to our nissan frontier. We contacted multiple locksmiths but were told that being that our key has a chip in it, we would need to go to the dealership to get the code in order for them to make us a new key. My husband found GT Locksmith on yelp, contacted him and was quoted over the phone. It was the best price and we wouldn't need to contact the dealership. He arrived right on time, he got all the needed info, got the code himself and made the new key... all in less than 15 minutes. We paid with debit, so he does take card payments. He is very friendly

First of all, he called and said he couldn't be there for at least 2 hours, not 25 minutes!! He did not have a door knob replacement in his little personal car. The name on the charge card was not GT Locksmith. Very shady!! He asked me where I got the name GT from. I told him Yelp. During our discussion on the phone about my review, you agreed that nothing I said was not the truth!!

Very awesome business. Lost my only transponder key to my 2014 kia sorento. Tony came out in about 20 minutes after calling him. Showed up, went right to work. Had me a new replacement key in hand in under 30 minutes. Just absolutely outstanding. He even advised that I go through my insurance and request a reimbursement for the job, which I did, and which I received from USAA. Just know that this only works if you have full coverage with roadside assistance. All in all Of highly recommend the company for your lock smithing needs.
