Helpful salesmen when selecting a fireplace, they don't work off of commission which is nice as they are not pushing you towards higher priced items for a higher payday. Chris and Charlie where both great to work with and were knowledgeable about the products.

I called many fireplace shops to try to replace my fireplace screen and no one seemed to want to be bothered. I feel so blessed to have called Lisac's Fireplace and have Randy return my call. He was WONDERFUL. He took so much time with me. I sent him all the particulars that I had on our fireplace and size. It was not something he carried but assured me that he would research it and get back to me. Today he called me because he had found the screen I needed. Had Lisac's out to service our fireplace because it was turning on by itself. Technician came out for $189 and seemed to have fixed it, mentioning while here that if we have the same issue within the next couple months then they'll come out again at no cost. Well, go figure, an hour after the tech left, the fireplace turned itself on again. We tried to reset the remote ourselves but had to call to have Lisac's back out a couple weeks later. Tech admitted that there was a specific sequence for resetting the remote that he didn't do last time, and also tried to blame it on a hidden

Paul Lisac did me a big favor today. He had a custom piece cut for me so I could cover a hole in my ceiling where the wood cook stove vent was. He had to make some calls, get it cut and then pick it up. With all the effort he put in, he charged me next to nothing. I'm sure he never gave his effort a second thought. I think that customer service is #1 for Lisac's. What he did get (without asking) is my loyalty for future purchases as well as me telling others about what a good guy he is. Add to that, the store is great looking and easy to shop. I am a store designer and was very impressed

very helpful, huge selection, as well real info for options that will work for our situation now and for the near future..... had a informative experience on Christmas eve..no rush and also explained permit process. All and all great experience! On line is great for theory...... actually seeing and feeling the heat from the demos in store..size perspective...to apply for my home ... web cant compete....

So, long story. I initially called a different company for help with my fireplace on Dec 6th 2019. Busy period. It took a month for an appointment. Had to get a new remote, another visit, took another month. After 4 visits and still my fireplace was not working I dropped into Lisac's for some information, because I just plain did not trust the "other company" ( pm if you want the name, I would not recommend them at all, but they did refund my money.) Andy and Adrian are consummate professionals and their integrity is beyond reproach. I went into the showroom to buy a new gas fireplace, but Andy suggested that my old one might be reparable! We're working on that now. I'm just incredibly impressed, as he could easily have sold me a new (and expensive) fireplace on the spot. Adrian does the service calls and really knows his stuff. These guys are the best.

We came here to see a stove that wasn't on display at the airport way location. Their selection is a bit different, but service is just as knowledgeable and helpful.

Hugo assisted us and helped us confirm what type of stove and parts we will need for our installation, then let us browse and look as long as we wanted; no pressure.

They have a wide selection of products displayed, and the stove we are most interested in is not only on display, but completely hooked up and functional. Seeing it in use made a huge difference for me, way more than just hearing and reading the length of log

Definitely no service after sale. Twice I have ordered replacement parts for my woodstove that I purchased from them. Both times I had to make several reminder calls and it took at least three months to get the parts. The third time I ordered in June knowing it would take months and still did not get what I needed by September. Finally found an online dealer back east that got me the parts within two weeks and much cheaper. Horrible customer service!

The dome on our BGE fell off and we needed a new one two days before thanksgiving. Called and spoke with Guy who was super helpful. Not only did they have it in stock but Guy personally drove it to our house that evening so we wouldn’t have to drive from Markham all the way to NE PDX. Price was comparable than other places I had called that didn’t have it in stock. We will absolutely use Lisac’s again.

We just had service done, but not completed on our Blaze King Firer place.
They said they had to come back and find the valve needed to repair it.
They sent an email stating they could not find the part, and that Portland Firer place said they do not make these parts any more.
We found the part on our own very easily, and have another repair service coming out to install it.
I usual do not write reviews, but I do not want any one else to be
in this position, where they just did not do their homework. Andy was nice enough but I believe just to busy!!!

I'm sitting enjoying my Lopi wood burning stove on a cold winter morning ... ah so comforting...

All thanks to the boys at lisac's Milwaukie. These guys were incredibly helpful in helping me select the parts needed for install and getting everything together so when my contractor arrived we could just bang a hole in the wall and up through the chimney we go.

They were very friendly, professional, and very helpful I feel like they went out of their way to make sure that I had everything right. Thanks guys!

Lisac's service people worked with the factory in the Seattle area to identify the problem with our gas fireplace insert. They tried several solutions, installing significant new components on three occasions. But the problem persisted. They even made a service call with the service technician from the Gas company. Finally, it was decided that the entire unit needed to be replaced. Incredibly, I was only charged just for the final service call to pull the original unit and put in the brand new one - never a component charge, not even for the complete new fireplace insert!

Gas Log Cleaning. WOO HOO, these guys rock. My gas log fireplace had not been cleaned or checked in 4 years and I noticed it needed some refreshing. In comes Lisac's Gas Log Cleaner, Adrian, and literally, in like 20 minutes, my gas logs look like new and the fire is burning brighter than ever. If you need a gas log cleaner, ONLY go with Lisac's/Milwaukie. You won't be disappointed. I can't wait for fall and winter to see these gorgeous logs (NOW) burning and keeping me toasty! Had a really good experience here. Our sales person listened to is about the size of the house and what we wanted in a gas fireplace insert then made a couple of recommendations. He then suggested we contact an installer who helped us make the final choice. Back to Lisac's, he printed out all of the forms we needed for rebates and tax credits. Very easy transaction.

We have a gas fireplace that we bought in 2010 from another company. Last summer it began turning on even though the thermostat was set at 70 degrees. The fireplace would mysteriously turn itself on even when the remote controller had no batteries. Our fireplace maintenance guy and even the tech at the manufacturer's company (Travis Industries) told us that there was something sending a signal to the fireplace receiver and that we must find out what it was - An impossible task!! I called Lisac and they immediately knew what I was talking about and came to replace the receiver - a $40 part

DON'T BUY A STOVE FROM THESE PEOPLE.
These guys are a bunch of salesmen. they will sell you whatever they have and once you buy it they have no interest in product quality or service. They are so busy selling that sometimes they don't even answer the phone on the showroom floor! The service department voice mail is so full it won't take a message.
We bought a wood stove- $3000 including installation. the combustor box failed and filled our house with smoke. We had to wait 4 weeks for the service department to come fix it and it cost an additional $500. The store owner said that

Our wood stove really should just get replaced, but for the time being, we are having Lisac's give it a little rehab. They are a little hard to get scheduled, because of how busy they are, but they are so professional and courteous on the phone that I can't help but overlook that.
There's a guy who answers the phone, who has a slight accent, who has helped me immensely and I wanted to give him props for being so kind and always replaying my messages and making sure my calls get returned promptly. So far our experience has been a very positive one.

DON'T BUY A STOVE FROM THESE GUYS! We recently purchased a refurbished gas fireplace from Lisac's. It wouldn't even heat the small front room in the house. It was supposed to heat approximately 950 sq. ft. The owner Paul refused to take the stove back and claimed it was working fine. There are lots of other stove places around. I suggest you use one of them for your heating needs.

We vote each and every day with our pocketbooks. Something to keep in mind on this election day. Every four years our "vote" seems monumental and yet the actual results at the larger level are to a great extent out of our control.

I called them after missing last year's boat: one of my condo neighbors rallied five other owners to get a special deal bringing the individual cost way down. This year it wasn't as GREAT a deal but certainly better than other local fireplace service companies.

Andy worked with me as I lined up two other people in our building. Not only was the work done quickly and to our satisfaction (we already had the positive reviews from our five neighbors), but I got a clear tutorial from Adrian on how to work the previously mysterious controls.

Good job! We'll be sure to have them out
