BUYER BEWARE/SAFETY ISSUES - VAATCO is one of the most unscrupulous businesses I have ever conducted business with. While my initial buying experience was positive, this quickly changed after driving off of the lot. I bought a vehicle here in mid-October, and less than six weeks later began experiencing serious mechanical issues that resulted in the car turning off while driving, placing myself and other drivers at risk and resulting in approx $1k in repairs. Put my families life IN DANGER! Sold us a car that they said was "a great car no issues" but then all of a sudden we had to wait over a month AFTER we signed the contract because the car was at the repair shop. I bought a car here, LESS than a month ago and the problems ALREADY started. Yes, there was a warranty, when we called to talk about the problems the car was having they REFUSED to pay for it. At a certain point it wasn't even about paying for it. What bothered me is that they sold me a car KNOWING IT WAS UNSAFE, AND KNOWING THE BRAKE LINES COULD HAVE GONE OUT ON THE HIGHWAY.

Their salesman Angel, was quick to greet me in a polite manner, when i arrived. I had an idea of what i wanted by looking at their listing of cars online, and Angel offered to show me the other cars they had, incase i was intetested in a different year model of the same car. When my husband and I were at the dealership they were helpful friendly, attentive, assured us we were getting a "GREAT TRUCK". Oh and the truck we purchased actually worked at the time. Less than an hour after buying the truck we parked it and it wouldn't crank, plus the engine check light came on. We contacted the sales person there who initially sold vehicle to us. He offered to have us bring it in and have the vehicle checked. We went the next day after charging the battery and dropped it off. He told us it would be back in our hands in a matter of days. We bought a Lexus from Jafar at Virginia Auto Trader. We had been looking for this car but was hesitant to buy from a dealer - you know the stories. Fast forward, it was exactly what we wanted. Jafar had such high quality cars. Nowadays individuals are not selling their cars directly anymore, so supply was limited. I would not hesitate a second to buy another car from them.
