Highly recommend Soot Slayer. I was very impressed with the responsiveness of Brandon and Daniel. In addition to promptly contacting me after an Angie’s List inquiry, they followed up within 48 hours to see if I had any additional questions. My husband and I were also impressed with the fairness of their quotes and the quality of their work. We initially hired them for a chimney cleaning but also ended up hiring them to repair/restore interior and exterior issues with our chimney. I would recommend the Soot Slayer team to anyone needing their quality services!!

Set up an appointment with Heath to service our gas fireplace. He called in sick and said he’d possibly be able to get to us later that day and would call if not, to reschedule.
A week went by. Nothing. We called him to reschedule. He assured us he’d be at our home at 4pm today via phone call, email and text. Another no show!!
Had to call him again at 4:30 today, only to find out he’d forgotten, he’s still kinda sick, a little “overwhelmed” and that he’s upset multiple customers recently.
Are you kidding me? How bout a quick call or text. Dropping the ball once is not acceptable

It is good that I had not read Downtowndusky's review of Sootslayer because we might not have chosen them to sweep our chimney and that would have been a mistake. Soot Slayer Chimney arrived on time, did a perfect job on our chimney and charged us a very reasonable fee. Heath and Kyle were courteous and went beyond what was expected to do the work. I can only surmise that Downtowndusky was in an altered state of consciousness himself when he wrote his review. We give Sootslayer the highest recommendation.

Heath was fantastic. He gave me a great price on a wood burning fireplace insert, and did a beautiful job of installing it. He was here when he said he would be, and was very pleasant to work with. I will be calling him again, when it's time to sweep the chimney. I recommend him highly and have already told several of my friends and coworkers about him.

David came out was very polite and efficient. He was very thorough, and took the time to explain what he saw on the inspection. He even let my very interested 5 year old watch the video he took of the chimney. This is the second time we have used soot slayer and won't be the last.
