Brian came out and diagnosed why my gas grill was not getting as hot as it should and why the side burner wouldn't work. Had nothing to do with HVAC but I couldn't find a plumber to work on gas and one who would show up. Patterson came out in 3 days (clearly not a rush job so I told them to take their time and just fit me in whenever). On Friday I got a video from Brian showing my side burner running at full strength. Very happy I called Patterson!

This whole company is extremely professional and reliable. Both Samantha and Susan were very polite and assistive on the phone. Our technician, Chris was very informative, knew the issue right away, and didn't try to overcharge us. They showed up sooner than expected both times, and were very pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this company for both residential and commercial services.

I have been a customer of Patterson Heating & A/C for 30+ years (and my in-laws before that, too!) and have always found them to be responsive to any HVAC needs I may be having at the time. We also purchased a complete HVAC system about 20 years ago and just recently purchased another compete HVAC system based primarily on their good customer service. A big shout out to their service tech Chris Jarrell, he does an excellent maintenance inspection/checkup every 6-months. He is the best…!

I can't say enough good things about Patterson. They have been doing our heating and air-conditioning maintenance since 2017 and they replace the air conditioner this past June. We had an awful experience with the home warranty company when our furnace went out. I called Paterson today and they fixed everything with very little effort. They told me the company who installed the furnace originally probably shouldn't be working. I would agree with them. Patterson is awesome and I highly recommend them!

The technicians are so well trained. Patterson has taken care of me since 1983.
They make sure that I am never without either air conditioning or heat.

After speaking with a technician for after hours service. The Technician gave me an approximate time. And after the time passed. I called him and the on call service. He never returned my call. The on call service had me on hold for 23 minutes before giving me an answer. I got a call the next morning from the office apologizing. What good does that do for my inconvenience. I could have possibly been serviced by another company. I knew a technician named Dan Mack he was the best. That’s the only reason I called here. He’s moved on and good for him.Now I shall move on!

I have been using Patterson Heating and Air for many years now and have always been very satisfied with their service, quality of work and overall professionalism. The technicians have always been very knowledgeable and friendly. I don't feel as though they push me into doing what is not needed at the time of service. Most recently Kris Haithcock was our service technician and was extremely helpful in solving a problem we had been having with some upstairs rooms feeling cold in the Winter and warm in the Summer. Buyer BEWARE!!! they were supposed to be here at 8:00 this morning ....for the 5th time....to repair
Mitsubishi split system. I finally called at 9:00 and spoke to donna. Her reply was "we have a lot going on here". I then called Dodson, the owner, and explained the situation. He checked on the problem, called me back and said someone would be here in 15-20 minutes. Not a good way to run a business!!

Another non-food review....weird. One thing you learn early about owning a home is that your HVAC unit needs to be cared for like an egg or else it can get very costly.
In our condo, we had used a few different HVAC services, and some missed some obvious stuff, while others didn't show up on time. We had two recent occasions where we needed an appointment fast an on a specific date.(pre-babies being born and moving) JL Patterson made sure they got to us on the date and time needed. I made calls to several different companies to have my AC unit repaired. Patterson was the first available so I went with them. The service person that came out was pleasant. He explained the repairs needed. I did express concerns about fixing the unit because it was so old. Although I had my own concerns about the the repairs, I feel I was being pressured into purchasing a new unit rather than having the old one repaired. After consideration and consultation with a different company I decided to go with the repairs rather than replacement. When I called the next day I was quoted a price $60 lower

Worst customer service experience! I was set up for a diagnostic service call, since the call was so late in the day I called another provider who was able to come to my house sooner. I called to cancel the appointment with Patterson, however, the sent a technician anyway. I told him the appointment was cancelled and he left. A week later a get a bill saying that I "did not call and confirm cancellation". I believe they were upset that they saw a more reputable company's van in my driveway. Of course, no one is answering their phone nor do they have voicemail. Please do yourself

In early May Jason came and serviced both of my units. Diagnosed TXV valve on one of my units causing lack of cooling. Charged 330.00 for 2 hours plus. Gave me written proposal for TXV replacement at 930.00 and a capacitor at 180.00. Justified charges by saying it would take two technicians 3 hours to do the work. Unit worked sort of so it was not urgent. Still the fact that it took multiple calls and four weeks to return seems like they didn't value my business. Two techs arrived at 1:35 today brought in an invoice for 1,180.00 at 2:30 and informed me that they charge flat rate and not hourly

After doing my research, I selected Patterson for it's reputation, experience, and York brand. They offered the best brand available for a gas pack unit. Our old unit needed work and after a couple of quote from others we decided to go with Patterson. So glad we did. Rick, our rep, was very knowledgeable about the product and his crew, Doug & Cesar, did a fantastic job installing it.
