UPDATE (after owners response which is BS).. NOT ONCE DID THEY TRY TO FIX ANY ISSUES... NOT ONCE... HE ACTUALLY REFUSED TO DISCUSS ANYTHING WITH ME....
Owner will say this is a lie however it is the truth. I was unhappy with my experience and my mother finally said something after hours of me being extremely patient with the movers. Multiple things for damaged or broken - about 10k plus in damages. They showed up over an hour late. I have video and picture proof of the time. My wife and I supplied water and tools as they didn't bring their own of either. Once my mom snapped on them from throwing

Robert ran into some trouble with his moving trucks and unfortunately had to refer out my move to another group. I wasn't satisfied with the job the other group had done and let Robert know he should consider not referring out this team. Robert was so apologetic and paid me for my troubles with this referred business. I wish I had been able to utilize Robert's services and can ensure you Robert is a trustworthy and reliable businessman.

The young men who are the movers are amazing, so if tip them make sure you don't tip the organization.
I used MMM in Fall2020 for a move. I booked my spot and move one month in advance, paid a deposit, snd signed the contract.
The week of the Saturday move I emailed to confirm. No response.
I emailed again and called the manager, no response on Friday.

The morning of the move I called to confirm and he said yes they're running late from another customer and will be at you soon. Of course they were late because there's more to the store.

Please dont ever use them..very unprofessional..yhey tokd me tgey woild move me and didn't..sent his men who were very nice with a truck to move a 1 bedroom apt and said they would be back with a bigger truckand never cane back.. left me stranded..please please dont trust him..i have messages to ptove how trifling the owner is..

Under no circumstances would I recommend this moving company. A few notes from my move:
- The movers were 30 minutes late
- Unbeknownst to me at the outset, the truck was partially full with someone else's belongings. Not only did this require them to make two trips (for which I had to pay) but after the move was complete, I realized that I had someone else's rusty bed frame in my home.
- A number of my items were damaged - including a broken couch leg, scratched chairs, scratched tables, scratched consoles.

First time using a moving company. I was rather skeptical of all moving companies from horror stories I have heard. I did a ton. Research and got many quotes. Muscle men movers actually did not come up on my search on yelp or Angie's list first. Then when a couple companies were booked on the day we were looking to move suggested Robert of muscle men movers, I requested an estimate. Not only was the company professional, they went out of their way for us. They were prompt and reliable. Also, amazingly priced. They worked hard and diligent. Nothing was missing or broken. I highly recommend Robert and his team! We were tasked with moving from a 6000 sq ft home to a 1 bedroom apartment with the rest of our belongings going into storage. What began as a daunting task became a seamless and pleasant process. My items were professionally wrapped, unassembled and reassembled at our new location. Robert and his team are by far the best moving company in the DMV. I've used them twice for moves, the most recent on just a couple of weeks notice, and Muscle Men was able to accommodate our move without any issues.
The prices are comparable, if not better, than most moving services as well. I asked Robert for boxes the night before and he responded immediately and even bought extra, which I of course needed.

Three-man crew worked efficiently and with great skill. They were respectful and mindful of our newly built home, taking caution not to hit walls or mark the flooring. Heed with caution....Nelson and his men are not trustworthy business people. They damaged my furniture, and refused to reimburse me for the damages. They were extremely sloppy in the handling of my belongs. They complained about moving stuff. Not to mention, they stole my shoes and other belongs. I reported damages to Nelson, and after a number of messages promising reimbursement, he sent a insufficient funds check for 50.00 buck, didn't come close to covering stolen goods and damages to my personal effects.
Do not trust these people with your valuables they common criminals.
