Owner was upfront and let me know if I picked my own radio that they would not support it; if it breaks it's 100% on me. That was in 2019 and everything worked great until September last year. Started to have some AC problems around the same time I started to have the radio problems where it would just lock up and not work. I came back today and they reminded me that they cannot work on anything with the radio and I'm like OK I get that that's cool, could you just check all of your wiring labor to make sure nothing came loose because it sounds like it's a short or something

These guys are great! I know essentially nothing about cars, and they're always willing to answer my questions that are unrelated to the work I'm having done at the moment. I have a Ford 150 and had the remote batteries put in new by my locksmith who is very good, but it is a Karr remote after driving the truck the remote wouldn't activate or deactivate the alarm at times and if I drove it the alarm would go off. Omar my guy suggested Sounding. I called and he said it could be alarm or they could put an new alarm in Viper.
We took it over and they said they found two Karr remotes and were going to see maybe if the remotes were bad. We left and went to lunch, they called shortly after the new remotes worked, they charged for them and they are perfect these

I needed at new stereo installed and they did a great job. I made an appointment a week prior and when I showed up I noticed a few people waiting for their cars to get done. I was worried that it would take most of the day which is fine but I was surprised/impressed when one of the technicians started working on my car right away. I also asked a few questions and the technician was nice and asnwered all of them. I had my car back within two hours ready to go. Thanks James for taking care of me!

Kim and the installer team were very helpful. This is my third stereo shop trying to get a system install correctly finalized at--fist two shops were lackluster and damaged a few door panels- had to be replaced. I've had a hissing noise from attenuation, emphasized with RPM's and the team was able to diagnose a ground cable coming off the battery being the root cause. Additionally, they were able to quickly diagnose an amp going out on one channel as a separate issue. Really happy with the team, and more importantly, the work performed. I will gladly be back and have already had

The owner is nice enough but I had a few issues. The person who does the tint is lacking skills. I had bubbles the first day, he told me to wait because it was just water. When the tint dried, I still had bubbles. Went to get it re-done now there’s scrapes in the tint. The work is done near an ally so dust gets everywhere and they left my car a mess with water marks, handprints dust and tint residue. I asked for a viper alarm to be installed at 930 am I was sent the model but when I got there at 5pm I had an Automate installed. He took 100 bucks off but the proper steps would have been calling

Worker gave me a price In sneaky boss charge me another something that was suppose to be 100 to150 became260to 300..watch out con man ..tell you job is 2hour.3hrs..but it really take a hour

If it's great, you come back. And I have returned to upgrade my speakers this time. Like I always do, I spend lots of time on forums for how other did their Tacoma. I added & removed speakers and hardware on Amazon and Crutchfield. I watched YouTube videos too, of course. But what online shopping and YouTube videos cannot do is allow you to experience in person the Sound . As you know, audio from YouTube comes through your device so that's not what you'll actually hear. For audio, you have to be in person to hear and feel it. So after days of research I went to see James at Soundiego

James Kim did a great job on my beater of a car. He installed a system that I selected, including backup camera. At the last minute I asked him to change the door locks for all four doors and he obliged on a busy weekend. Much appreciated. Top notch service, a kind person, and very fair and reasonable prices. Blows away the completion. Acura MDX 2005 CarPlay and android auto install.

One of the Worst "service" experiences ever. Stay away. I sent an email with pics, plans, parts, a schema for the job installing an inverter. Spoke with the owner and told him it was time sensitive, booked my apt 3 weeks in advance. Called to double check everything. He told me" yes, yes, I looked, everything is good. We need 3 hours, not 2 as original.
When I arrived he hadn't shown his installer anything. It appeared that he didn't even read the email and then he told me he was closing the shop and couldn't do it.
I'm stuck without the power I need for my work computer and I have to travel

I reached out to yelp to figure out what was wrong w/ my system, it was previously installed at a different shop, james responded to come by to get it checked out the same day!
Being a girl I was prepared to spend extra $, KIM had greeted me outside and after 10 minutes he had fixed & replaced my broken fuse at no charge.
Kim you are seriously heaven sent, thank you for being patient and honest with your service! My battery also died and I believe Al came out and helped jumpstart my car lol

James/Kim gave me the best quote to replace my factory stereo and backup camera. Even after several calls and messages, he still took the time to answer any of my concerns. I was initially worried because his quote was less than other competitors and thought he might have missed something or the quality of work was going to be questionable. But I was totally wrong! There were no hidden fees or last minute add-ons. I got the stereo deck I wanted (Pioneer with Apple CarPlay), Pioneer back-up camera rewired to deck; deck kit, antenna, and steering wheel adapter). Soundiego was a nice, small business find as I was looking to install an Apple car play unit in my car. I asked three other San Diego audio shops and Soundiego was the cheapest. I didn't know I'd get excellent service as well. I messaged James the owner and he helped me in person. He even fit me in when I called to see if there was availability before they closed. He estimated it'd take an hour and a half but they finished in one hour! This shop has been in business for 30 years. I'm so glad I found it!

Very professional. Did quality job on my sub woofer and amp installation. It’s was done in a very clean way! All the wires nicely concealed. Sub woofer and amp were also tuned up nicely for my car. The mechanic who did the job was very detail oriented and did his best. Pricing wise I might have found a shop which was about 10-15 bucks better but I feel that it was worth it at soundiego, for the quality job. Mr. Kim, the owner was also very enterprising and nice company while the installation was being done! Will definitely come over here again for my car’s audio video needs!
