Tomasi Design specializes in custom wood furniture and cabinetry for both private residences and commercial spaces. We also offer 3D computer aided drafting services. Our focus is on creating beautiful, yet functional pieces that fully meets the client's vision. From our Marin County workshop, we'll do our utmost to ensure that your customer experience is memorable and smooth.
We are currently finishing a complete remodel of a house and Christopher Tomasi has built our Kitchen cabinets, living room cabinet with book shelves, family room cabinet, desk area, master bathroom vanity and cabinet, and laundry room cabinetry. He has great eye for aesthetics, attention to detail and quality, and is very responsive.

Additionally we offer many methods of finishing including stain and varnish, paint grade conversion varnish, faux, glazing, highlighting, aging and distressing.

We used Tomasi Design for all our built in cabinetry in our newly renovated house. Scope included kitchen cabinetry, desk area, family room cabinet, living room cabinet, master bathroom vanity, laundry room and fireplace mantel. They did an excellent job and everything on time. He fixed and solved any issued that arose during the project and in a very pleasant manner. Christopher Tomasi, the owner, is very professional, has great eye for details, very responsive and worked well with my designer and contractor. Chris Tomasi worked with us on the design and layout of cabinetry in the kitchen, pantry, living room, and bathrooms. The scope of the work was, therefore, considerable, requiring cabinetry designs for rooms with very different functions.
Chris constructed all of the cabinetry and then pretty much installed all of it himself, down to the placement of the knobs and pulls.

Chris did an amazing job of customizing our beloved 1950's built-in cabinet with a modern tv lift system. We gave him the difficult task of cramming the biggest tv we could find into a tiny, narrow cabinet. Then he encased the tv with a beautiful frame, which perfectly matches the original wood of the cabinet. He also updated the vintage speaker grill and thoughtfully repaired broken hinges. It was a very difficult project that required someone with strong technical skills, talent, and good taste. Chris is fast and affordable for the quality of work he produces.
