Services
I started NePalo Cabinetmakers in 2002. Fine woodworking had been a hobby of mine for a long time, but by profession, I was trained as an engineer and received my MBA from UT Austin. With this background, I spent several years working as a banker, a consultant, a production manager, and a software designer.
I'm so grateful for your honesty and concern for creating a beautiful, high-quality result. You're a true professional - and a perfectionist - which I very much appreciate!. I've really fallen in love with the table. I've talked to my wife for a long time about how much I wanted a table that we could have for a long time as we raise our kids and eat together, and we have it now.
1.-- How long does it take for me to get my furniture? It depends on the type of project that you want, but in some cases we can deliver your project in 3 weeks, in some other it would take longer. We deal with custom furniture so each project is unique. 2.- -What types of woods do you use? We use mainly certified hard woods that originate from forests that are Forest Stewardship Council certified for their sustainable harvest practices.

I initially hired Aaron to do a custom bookshelf for my collection of comics book and was so happy with the result I hired him again to do another custom bookshelf for my boardgames collection. Every single visitor to our house comments on how good the Comics shelves and accompanying ladder look, and I suspect the same will happen once my game room's finished :). Aaron delivered both projects on time and in budget, communicated clearly throughout and executed on the specs we'd discussed, which he'd always confirm with very clear drafts drawings. Would hire him again in a heartbeat

I am a photographer working in wet collodion (an historic photographic process). I built a gigantic camera for making mammoth sized contact prints, but I couldn't build the plate holder for it. My very basic skill level as a wood worker required me to turn to a true master. Aron's skill set (and amazing array of tools) allowed him to build the perfect back for my camera. He built it perfectly, quickly and at a fair price.

Aaron built the cabinets for our recently completed kitchen remodel. His craftsmanship is excellent. He has an amazing eye with great attention to detail. Our kitchen is stunning and it's largely due to Aaron's work. Additionally, he was a pleasure to work with. He listens to really understand and deliver what you want. He also did a great job providing updates on timing and other project milestones. I highly recommend Aaron and look forward to working with him again.

We had a fantastic experience working with Aaron, start to finish. We engaged him to do kitchen, dining room, master bath and guest bath vanities, and we threw in a pretty complicated staircase and under-stair drawer/cabinet project.

Aaron delivered my new desk today (actually desk plus filing system plus drawers plus cabinet). It is absolutely gorgeous, and the detail is amazing! Aaron combines the precision of an engineer with the aesthetics and creativity of an artist. He was a pleasure to work with, and the desk was delivered exactly when he predicted. His workshop is amazing and I was delighted to get a tour of it. I would not hesitate to work with him again.

This is the first review I've ever written for yelp, but I felt compelled to do it because we just had our (inset!) kitchen and master bath cabinets done by Nepalo Cabinetmakers and we couldn't be happier. Aaron is a true artist/craftsman - very professional and a perfectionist. Our cabinets turned out even better than we'd imagined and we are tough critics.
