The simple answer is: The National Fire Protection Association Standard 211 says, Chimneys, fireplaces, and vents shall be inspected at least once a year for soundness, freedom from deposits, and correct clearances. Cleaning, maintenance, and repairs shall be done if necessary.

Patriot Chimneys provides custom handcrafted Chimney Caps that not only help protect your Home and Chimney but are also made to provide an aesthetically pleasing appeal to your homes Chimney. We have several cap options for multiple different types of chimneys. The caps are cut from 24 gauge sheet metal flats and are assembled, riveted and soldered together.
Patriot Chimneys provides Firebox Installation in both new and existing homes or commercial buildings. If you have a new home we can install a new top of the line firebox and flue system for you. We can also remove your old firebox and flue components and reinstall a newer more efficient fireplace for you.

Scotty was very down-to-earth and informative. Not only did he preform the inspection and cleaning in a professional, efficient, and clean manner but he was also great about explaining to me how fireplaces work and gave great tips on how to use my specific fireplace. I feel like I got a free "lesson in fire" on top of the paid for service. Patriot was also very affordable so I would recommend this company for anyone needing cleaning, work, or inspection on their fireplace in the DFW.

I used Patriot Chimneys in the fall of 2020, and again in the fall of 2021, to ensure that my chimney was clean and in safe working order for the winter. The service provided was good, and the techs that came were personable and friendly.
The reason for the 3-star review is that this past time that I used them, simply getting anyone to contact me back in any capacity was way too difficult. I inquired online (like I did the first time, which I had gotten a prompt response on). After a week of waiting, I called, but no one answered. I chose Patriot because of their great reviews and they lived up to it. I dug Scott from the moment he entered my home. He was friendly, easy to talk to, explained things in detail and except for a delay in one of the parts, because many parts are hard to get now everywhere, once the part came in, he got the job done. I highly recommend Patriot and would do business with them again.

The team came out to inspect and clean the chimney. They were done within an hour. They told me all about the inspection report and were very knowledgeable about their job. They made sure I did not have any questions before they left. Very professional and very personable. My wife is happy to be able to use the fireplace in the upcoming season. See y'all next year.

These guys deserve a nod! I called them in the afternoon on Monday. Not even 24 hours later they were at my house cleaning my chimney. It should be noted that I called to schedule a cleaning at their busiest time of season and they still came through in quick time. Extremely professional and very timely. They were honest with a good price. They didn’t try to sell a “damaged” Chimney. They answered all my questions while they were here. They are also veteran owned! They offer good discounts as well! They deserve more then 5 stars. Thank you guys!

Can’t say enough positive as this was a perfect transaction from the start to finish. Brian and crew performed a chimney cleaning and inspection, repaired some cracks and converted my gas log fireplace into wood burning. Communication was very clear, quick and professional.
