This was one of the most unprofessional and terrible experiences I have had with a moving company. Please also note, if you think it's Sugar Land Movers, its actually Moving Stars Inc. I cannot begin to express all that is wrong here. I have just started the claims process.
It was supposed to be a full pack and move, items were damaged and left behind. The truck that showed up had holes in the roof and it was raining.
They movers were even critical of the company they worked for. Very odd.

They were very late and worked very slowly. I think that's the scam... they work extremely slow, so they can charge you more. They broke several priceless items. They lost items and damaged pieces of my furniture. The little guy who drives the truck was very nice but also very incompetent. There is no designated crew. They pick up homeless people to come in your homes and handle your items. I did nothing feel safe at all. I would not recommend this company to move anyone's trash...and especially not to move one's furniture.

I used Sugarland movers one time and swear not to use them again. It took them 7 hours to move my 2 bedroom apartment and new apartment was in same society just 50 yards apart!! They arrived at my apartment 10 in the morning and left 7 in the night with 2 hours of break in between. I had to call management and negotiate the hours which was not easy either. The tools movers brought were not power tool which added in time.. all together complete waste of time and energy. We end up doing most of the packing and moving next day. I will never recommend Sugar Land Movers.

These people first tell you they can do something and then can not even give you a quote over the phone to move personal items!! The man who answered the phone was rude and Condescending. I’m so glad they are not able to move my client. I’m sure they would have done a terrible job just based on the customer service I received over the phone! Do not use this company!!

TERRIBLE!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. MY REVIEW WAS TOO LONG SO I COULDN'T POST EVERYTHING THAT HAPPENED DURING THIS MOVE. THEY BROKE MY TV ,DINNING ROOM TABLE, LIVING ROOM FURNITURE AND MORE AND OFFERED ME $16.00 TO COVER THE DAMAGES. NOT TO MENTION, THEY WERE 2 HRS LATE AND WENT OVER MY QUOTED AMOUNT BY AN ADDITIONAL 2 HOURS

The Sugar Land Movers gave me a wonderful experience. Stuff packing was perfect as I thought. Generally ,I always pack my all stuff before moving day. But this time I hired them. The work came on in the right schedule which was at 9:00 am, no waste of any time and started packing all furniture. I also wanted to help them. But there was no room for me, they managed everything very well! Finished all packing in short time. None of my stuffs were broken or damaged. They have no hidden charge, everything was crystal clear. I will use them every time and always will ignore all bad companies.
