I scheduled a move an they were supposed to set everything up. The movers left without setting up the beds, dresser and dining room table. I called to complain and they said they would send another team out for an additional $109.00 after we had already given them $500.00.
The error should have been corrected for free. If you don’t want to work on Christmas Eve, close rather than ruin someone’s day.
After I made this post, your response is false. We were charged and agreed to the hourly rate. We were willing to pay more while they were there, NOT for them to come back and correct things.

We were charged an additional hour of "labor". Quote "30 mins to get here and 30 mins to drive back". We were quoted $109 per hour of labor with a two hour min and $69 for travel time. Wait, there it is, travel time already being paid but no, the guy said that was "gas money". Baffled. Nothing we could do at that point. My husband took a quick break from work bc we needed our things unloaded to return the UHaul. All I can say is find someone else.

November 10th, it's been 3 months now. Company hasn't refund me for the table they broke. Hasn't contacted me. Doesn't even answer my messages.
I would give them 0 stars if possible. Save yourself some headache and pay a little more for something done right and with care. They are not the people that do things right or with care. Period.

*Did not show up on moving day, waited all day to call and reschedule.
*Nathan, the GM is a liar and did not hold up his word after they did not show up on my move date then said that is how he conducts business!! He said he would waive my processing fees for the inconvenience of not coming on the date I specified. Only to find out after they have finished the work and it's time to pay that I find out if you pay cash or zelle, there is no processing fees. Straight robbery! I planned

Worst experience. Paid $600.00 to get two young non-muscular kids to move my belongings. They didn't want to take the heavy furniture and dropped my new 6 drawer chest twice. One drop on the gravel/ street ( found two drawer handles in front of the mailbox) and dropped again on the sidewalk at my new residence. That drop I witnessed. Some items have not been unpacked yet. I am afraid to look at them. Lots of expensive breakable items. Had to warn people. If you get thin, 5 foot- six inch movers turn them away. Moving is stressful but you may just have to prolong the move for the right movers

I just got off the phone with one of their representatives, he was impatient, rude and unprofessional. I called to book a day ahead. I do need to plan things ahead because like many people I have a busy life.
He said that I can't get movers on snap of a finger and kept saying things don't work that way. When you work in costumer service you can explain your company's structure, but should never tell people how "things" work.
He proceeded to hang up on me. Take you business somewhere else where people are kind, professional and reliable.

AVOID THIS COMPANY!!!
This was my first time using movers because I'm new to area and don't have family or friends here.
When they movers arrived I specifically told them my most important thing is my Purple mattress that is less than a year old and expensive!!!
I'm not sure what happened during transit and my mattress was ruined. I specifically told them I was not satisfied and request a discount. The owner denied and said it was my fault! Also I was charged an additional hour and I asked the driver and he said it was for the drive. The drive was only 3 miles and took 9 mins! Also

I made a 9am-10am March 28th reservation with Pack-it-movers on March 26th and paid the required $50 deposit. On the morning of March 28th, I received a text at 10:03am saying the movers were on the way. By 11am the movers had not shown up and I started calling, I received a returned call with no voicemail left at 11:40am. I continued calling as my reservation was 9am-10am. I finally got a second callback and spoke to someone who stated they needed me to confirm I still wanted my reservation. I told the individual that I paid for the reservation and received a confirmation email on March 26th,

I paid $50 deposit for them to come Tuesday from 1:00pm-3:00pm and THEY NEVER SHOWED UP!!! They apologized and told me they would come the next day between 8:00am-9:00am. They showed up at 9:45am! The movers themselves were nice people. When I spoke to the owner and asked to be compensated for the major inconvenience of taking off at work for nothing the owner said you must have me confused with another company.... he said when you sign your deposit they can show up whenever they want!

If you don't read any review-- READ THIS ONE-- do not use this company! Unless you want to waste an entire day and still receive no service, then go for It. Called multiple times throughout the day with confirmation a crew was coming . For the driver to tell me he was "eating and doesn't know what time he is coming" very unprofessional company. They had to reschedule twice and cancel over an hour after they were supposed to show up every time. When driving between the destinations, we went left the same time they did, and somehow they took an extra 30 minutes to an hour to get to the final destination before we did even though the drive was only 25 minutes. I only wish I had looked at their reviews on google. It's suspicious how there's nothing but good reviews and the bad ones are criticized heavily by the owner, but when you check the reviews on Yelp, it's a different story. Stay away.

I called immediately they canceled service because I was rightfully upset that now at this point they were going to have to send someone out Monday but we HAD to be out today.
The number they had wasn't even close to my number and was set up like this 723456789 so I thought it was a customer ID number.
They sound set it up like this 123-456-7890 so it's obvious

I was scheduled to have movers show up at 8:00 and then at 11:00 I was told that they didn't have a crew to move me and would not be sending anyone to my house that day. This left me in a horrible position as I had to be out of the house that day. DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE. Also, the dispatcher manager on duty that day was one of the rudest people I have ever spoken to. He couldn't have cared less that they screwed me over and cost me a ton of money in the process

When I booked packit movers to move my items from my home I was charged a $50 deposit paid by credit card to them. Their policy states that I can also pay them the total amount after the Delivery of all of my items.
So after I scheduled Packit Movers, they came and packed my items
Not all items were wrapped and many items weren't packed on the truck properly and there was damage don't to my property including damage to my security sign.

I wish I could give these people zero stars. They didn't show up on the day they were supposed to come. My husband and I waited around the entire day for them. They called saying they were running late, and then several hours passed. We called multiple times asking for an update and they kept saying they would call us back with an ETA. Then they called us at the end of the day saying they weren't coming. Absolutely unprofessional.

I would not recommend using Pack-It Movers. I hired the Company to move items from one apartment to another two miles up the street. Two movers, Trey and Juan, showed up and moved everything quickly but very sloppily. See the damages in the attached photos, they scratched the walls, broke the legs on my sofa and destroyed my bed frame by breaking the rails. Despite my better judgment, I still paid and tipped with the promise from Trey that they would repair the damages within the next few days and exchanged numbers- *3277.

I called these movers to move me a week in advance and paid a $50 deposit. They were scheduled to come move me between 2-4. The day of the move I CALLED THEM at 4 pm because they had not arrived or updated me and they then decided to tell me the crew that was supposed to move me would not be able to come because they were assisting the previous client with more things then expected and told me I would have to wait till the next day. Absolutely unprofessional and they still haven't refunded me. I called A1 Houston movers at 4 pm that day and they sent someone to me by 6 pm. Will never use pack

I met Pack-it-Movers at a Keller Williams training and decided after learning from other agents that had used their services that they were great! I recently referred a client in Houston that was moving! She said they were very efficient, never slowed down and would recommend in the future!
