They are time conscious, always running to save me money! They're the best! I've used them for my estate sale company over and over and refer them to all the clients I've had.

Services
Apartments, Condos, and smaller homes will usually require 1 truck and 2 or 3 men. In Home Estimates are not usually needed, but of course, they are available upon request. Apartment and Condo moves should consider carry distance when determining the number of movers to use. Office moves usually require far more planning than residential moves.
Packing Tips - By far the best way to save time and money on your upcoming move is to get it packed. Dont wait until the last minute to start your packing, this will only add to your stress levels. Try packing 3-4 boxes per day in the weeks leading up to your move. Label the sides not the tops. Packing your belongings in same sized boxes or standard moving boxes can be a big $time$ saver.

Seriously one of the best Customer Service experiences i have ever received. From the initial same day quote, quick scheduling turnaround and awesome Move Day from the three very professional guys that came out. All three guys, i couldn't have been more impressed with. I couldn't believe the hustle even in the extreme heat. RUNNING from the truck to the house but still being very careful with our belongings. Great efficiency and came in under the budgeted hours. I don’t know that my words will ever be enough to express exactly how grateful I am to those at Skinny Wimp Moving. The incredible experience started with Alexis during the quoting process, and never once… faltered. My family and I moved from Houston to Oklahoma, which was no easy task. However, the incredible team at Skinny Wimp made the move so much less stressful!! Yesterday (5/15) I purchased a 300 pound desk from the Restoration Hardware Outlet at Katy Mills Mall. Anyone who shops Restoration Hardware knows that the furniture is extremely well made, and typically quite heavy. Skinny Wimp Moving Company is contracted with RH to handle their Outlet deliveries. I called from the store and spoke to James Vandeventer. He was fantastic! We set everything up while I stood in the store. James told me the desk would deliver Sunday or Monday. I received a text Sunday afternoon letting me know the desk would be delivered between 2-4pm. The truck pulled up at 3pm.

My experience hasn’t been as blessed and blissful as others. It took five hrs for them to move a disassembled bed, dresser, two floor lamps, one night stand and around 30 boxes/totes a short 30 minute drive… (which took them over an hour to make). At the end I just had them line the stuff down the hall at my new apartment so I could get them off the clock!! I had my TV ruined (it’s apparent it was dropped....and they weren’t forthcoming or honest about it - like I wouldn’t notice the tv was broken). I had Carlos and Alex help me move a dining set that I purchased. They called to tell me when they would arrive and were right on time. They both were so energetic and polite. This is the second time we have used Skinny Wimp and have been very impressed with their work ethic. Carlos, Randy and Bobby were prompt, polite and very competent. Carlos and Bobby were fast, very respectful, and so nice! Their communication with each other is what sets these guys apart. They didn’t notice me but I watched them pulling up to my house and Bobby got out to direct Carlos with the truck so they wouldn’t accidentally damage my low hanging Live Oak. Because of that alone I decided to double their tip before they even unloaded my furniture. They brought a gigantic dresser inside without hitting any walls and I was shocked. They took the plastic wrap with them to throw away so I wasn’t left with a mess. Hire them!

Jason is amazing! Super friendly and hard working. His guys work hard. They are always on time or early. They call well before they show up, or say they are running early. Skinny Wimp Moving to the rescue with a great price and a professional crew. They came thru at the last minute when another comany cancelled on me for a Sunday move. After the flooding of Hurricane Harvey, we were clearing a house in the Katy area of ruined furniture and salvaging what we could. Unbeknownst to us, Skinny Wimp Moving had sent a truck to the neighborhood to help those that had lost their homes to the flooding at no cost. Due to their generosity, we unexpectedly found ourselves with five people… able to remove ruined furniture we didn't know how to handle on our own, as well as moving boxes to protect clothes and toys not destroyed by the waters. It's difficult to express our gratitude for this aid at a terribly difficult time.
