BP Heating & Air, LLC provides HVAC installation and service for heating and cooling systems throughout Central Texas, including Austin, Round Rock, Cedar Park, Leander and Lakeway. We service all brands of central air conditioning systems and install systems manufactured by Rheem, Mitsubishi, Manitowoc, Mortex, Ruud, American Standard, Trane, Carrier, Goodman and others.

The company owner, Bill Potts, has more than 20 years experience working with heating and cooling systems. We offer discounts for senior citizens and government service workers such as police, fire fighters, postal workers and members of the Armed Services. As an active member of the Airconditioning Contractors Association of America (ACCA), we pride ourselves on the work we do and our highly ethical practices.

In 2009 Central Texas had a record number of days with triple-digit temperatures. We understand how miserable it feels when your air conditioning system fails and when it is hot. In this Central Texas climate, everyone depends on a properly serviced air conditioning system.

With record outside temperatures for a while now, our A/C had enough and would not turn on. I called BP Heating & Air, and they were able to fit us into their schedule that same day. Mr. Potts was on time, listened as I described our A/C woes from the past, diagnosed the problem and educated me on various other maintenance items.

The house is nice and cold again and price to fix the issues was VERY reasonable. Do not hesitate to contact them for your A/C and heating needs. I've been through several major companies, as well as smaller ones and as individuals-- BP Heating & Air

If I could give 10 stars I would. It's 100 degrees today and our A/C conveniently went out while I was working from home this afternoon. After reading rave reviews on Nextdoor, I gave Bill a call. Not 10 minutes later did he return my call, have me do a brief diagnostic to help him accurately detect the problem and an hour later, he was over at my house (on a Friday afternoon). Bill's friendliness, professionalism, helpfulness and efficiency was top notch. I have a Rheem Prestige high-end system that stopped cooling just after the 5 year mark. Bill explained that Rheem had a defective coil that would fracture and all the R410-A coolant would leek out. I would also learn that a class action lawsuit had occurred but Rheem failed to notify me (yes the system was registered) and that the 10 year warranty that I was supposed to have, had been shortened to 5 years. I hired Bill to repair the system but when he showed up (without a service vehicle), he refilled the coolant, he charged me $200 ($250 if I wanted a bill), and he hoped that it would last a

I've been working with Bill Potts for many years. He is ALWAYS prompt, professional, competent, and an all-around nice man. He knows his stuff, and has saved me a lot of money by avoiding unnecessary repairs. Believe me, in Austin when the AC breaks - it's a big deal. I sent him a text at 10:30pm last night (Memorial Day) asking if he could possibly set a time to come look at my AC which had gone on the fritz several hours prior. Got it fixed this morning by 11am!

I just bought a house and the inspection came back telling me a needed to replace one of the parts in my AC. I wanted to see how much it would cost to replace and I called and asked if I could get a quote over the phone and was rudely told no and hung up on. I didn't even get a chance to explain what was the matter. In my opinion this was a missed opportunity for the company to get a new customer.

Excellent service. Our AC stopped working on a Saturday in the middle of summer. He answered our call on the weekend, was here within a few hours, explained the issues, and fixed on the spot. He is very knowledgeable and was able to give us some maintenance tips while he was here.

We spent roughly $7000 on a new AC unit with another HVAC company in July 2013... Guess what just happened today (August 11th, 2015). In the 107 degree heat, our AC just died on us. We called the original installers and they wouldnt come out until 48 hours from then... not acceptable with two young children and a cat in the house. Instead, I called Bill Potts and within hours, he had my AC up and running again. He made the process enjoyable, and really walked through the things that we could do to make our AC unit more efficient. I wish I had found him in the first place. He's knowledgeable

I love this company. Today is the second time I have used them and I couldn't be more pleased. My AC unit was not working I was prepared to pay a lot of money for a new unit. I put my trust in Bill because he was not only highly recommended by my realtor, but also had taken care of me at my last house. Bill, Larry and Robert came and did a very thorough inspection of the system After troubleshooting they delivered the news that, among other errors, my freon had been overfilled by six pounds when it was originally set up.
