Mover didn't return the 100% refundable deposit. Move was canceled more than 3 weeks in advance due to scheduling conflict. Mover was unable to accommodate weekend move date.
Update: Got a phone call from boston house movers at 9:45 pm and was shouted at and harassed about my review. I was half asleep, but it was a very bizarre encounter. I feel very uncomfortable that they have my credit card number and phone number on file.

Boston House Movers exceeded all my expectations! Peter and Jay own and operate this reliable company with true professionalism. I have used their services twice, once in-state and most recently, last week, from Boston, MA to New York, NY. SAME DAY SERVICE, incredible experience!!! They put my mind at ease about this out-of-state move. Not only did they respond so timely when I called or texted, but they were ALWAYS patient with my many questions. This is the very first time I hire a moving company. I was very pleased with Boston House Movers. Service they explained and answer all my questions, Pedro was very helpful. After making all the arrangements since I was not physically present during the moving process of my furniture, I had a proxy (very demanding). I was able to communicate over the phone and sure enough they were on time.. very responsible workers. I highly recommend Boston House Movers. If I ever need a moving company again I'll call them again.

Excellent service! Boston House Movers came right on time. They were very professional. Handled all my boxes, furniture, and belongings with care. It was a great experience! Never stopped working until there was nothing else to move and put in the right place. They were very well prepared with extra boxes and moving blankets to make sure all of our furniture and house plants got to our destination safe and intact. If I ever need to move again I most definitely contact them again. Lastly, they seem very sensitive to COVID19 regulations. They wore their masks the entire time. Couldn't be happier

Boston house movers were a life saver! True professionals! We moved within the same city and called them last minute and they were able to get us in for last weekend. They were fast and efficient. They wrapped out big furniture if we hadn’t wrapped it. They took such god care of our belongings. They remembered what went where from the old place to our new place. I would 100% recommend them! We certainly will be calling them if we are in need of another move!

I WOULD GIVE 20 STARS if it were possible. This INCREDIBLE crew has moved me 2x in 6 months. They are flawless. Excellent communication with Jay to set everything up. Very detail oriented. I shared pics of the items needed moved and the number of boxes. Across 2 (large scale moves) not a single thing cracked or broken. They take expert care of everything. All furniture is wrapped and tapped for transport. They are careful with the home, ensuring floors are covered and delicate with moving the items through doorways and downstairs. They have excellent team work and that makes for an efficient move

Jay and his crew moved my tenants to their new apartment and the next day moved my stuff from a house I sold to where my tenants were residing. Jay was extremely easy to work with, communication before and during the move was outstanding and the price was extremely reasonable. Particularly during this time with COVID 19-he was very safety… concerned with his crew and my tenants. I would highly recommend this company. Nothing was damaged. I had a table my deceased father made and he was extremely careful with a fragile piece of furniture that had great sentimental value so I am having a hard

Amazing movers! We called with a 48 hour notice and they were able to accomodate us perfectly. The movers are extremely professional, showed up on time, quick, and efficient. This is the best moving service I have used and definitely recommend. These guys made our move stress-free and quick. I highest recommend, there is no other move that will be as careful and efficient as these guys!

I used them this past weekend to move my 2 bedroom apt. Jay called me to confirm the day before, then confirmed that morning via text that they would be there. The movers were all professional and wrapped the furniture beautifully so as not to damage it. They were punctual and professional. Would use again. Most reasonable rates I have found.
Ok it won’t let me add another recommendation, so I will update this one. I just used them for the THIRD TIME. They were great. Fast, efficient, professional, affordable. Will call again next time.
