Rene Garcia (owner) & his team are ALWAYS PROFESSIONAL, COURTEOUS, HARDWORKING, & FRIENDLY!
We have had 3 porcelain flooring projects done: 2014: Living Room, 2017: Upstairs Office Area, Stairwell, & 2 Bedrooms, and just yesterday, 27 October 2021: upstairs Master Bedroom, Master Closet, Master Retreat, & the last guest bedroom.
All of the flooring is beautiful, outstanding, professionally installed & at a great price.
We have one more porcelain flooring job left and the only person we will call is Rene Garcia & his RG Tile & Stone Team.

RG Tile removed a fiberglass shower/bath combo and replaced it with a beautiful tile shower. They did a great job! Rene always answered my many phone calls to discuss the progress of the job and design ideas. His price was far better then any of the others I received. This company saved me from a HUGE headache! I called other tile companies & never got returned phone calls or some of them gave me a quote over the phone, totally not the business! Renee came out & personally gave me a quote. I am writing the first bad review I have ever written. I felt compelled to write it because our experience with RG Stone has been so negative, as we have ended up paying over $6000+ for a travertine shower that is defective because of the poor quality work that Renee and his crew with RG Stone did. Renee seemed nice enough and the original installation of the tile looked beautiful but the contractor and I realized the afternoon after Renee completed the job that he hadn't correctly measured where the edge of the shower should have begun and it was off. Rene and his workmen cut a counter top opening for a new range in my Coronado rental. Even thought the job was small they treated me and the job well by arriving on time and keeping the granite dust down by tenting the counter top area. By tenants were extremely happy with the results which included not having to remove the counter top to an outside area.

Ok well we did our 1st bathroom with them and never again. It is a father and son business and they also had other family members working with them along with a few unrelated workers
1st trip out the Father came looked at my 2 bathrooms and gave me a quote it was about the same as the others but he was very friendly and seemed knowledgeable we decide to pick RG Tile.
The son come back to get one third deposit and have me sign contract (with no copy for me but said I would get one mailed after copied never did)
They come back a few days later for demo and when they removed the shower insert they

Due to being very particular about my home I spent much time researching and then getting estimates to tile my newly expanded shower stall. My research paid off as my shower came out beautiful! Rene was always available to take my calls even on a Saturday. His crew was very professional and would consult with me every time any minor or major decision had to be made. Their suggestions were spot on and contributed to a job well done. Many man hours were spent to get my floating shower seat just right. We remodeled a bathroom with all new shower and tile, and RG Tile and Stone did an absolutely beautiful job, and this is coming from someone who notices every possible minute detail. We then decided to redo another bathroom, an even bigger project, but because of a scheduling conflict, we had to go with someone else. What a mistake. When they were almost finished, I had to fire them because of sloppy work and then hire RG Tile and Stone to come and fix all the mistakes they made. What a difference. I highly recommend RG Tile and Stone! Renee responded immediately to a general inquisition I made online. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable and stood out amongst the other contractors. He returned my calls and emails quickly and completed the job in a timely manner. In the middle of the project I made a change and was worried it would be a problem however this was not the case. Renee made the adjustment and assured me that my satisfaction was the ultimate goal. The work was beautiful and I couldn't be happier. I will definitely call him for my next project!
