Founded in 2018, TrueShield Pest Control is a family-owned and operated pest control company serving Idaho Falls. Owners Matt La Chapelle and Matt Reed gained experience working in the pest control industry for a number of years before deciding to take the opportunity to start their own business in order to allow them to take care of their families, their customers, and the environment.
Protecting your business can sometimes feel like a full-time job on top of your full-time job. Making sure your facility is secure, and in good working order, your employees and customers are happy and safe, and your equipment and inventory are protected is a big task. Remember as a kid always hearing "sleep tight, don't let the bed bugs bite" before drifting off to sleep? Told Matt I'd leave a review because so far I believe he deserves it! Called him about a problem with mainly boxelder bugs & a few other annoying flys. He came a month ago to do 1st spray and today to do a 2nd for the 30day follow up. After 2 to 3 weeks in I noticed a difference with the bugs going away. As of today, maybe 1 here or there around the house. He's a nice guy when he comes by to spray. Will do a follow up review in November for my 3 month spray.

Matt is always excellent to work with. After calling a number of companies trying to deal with a viscous wasp problem and failing to deal with them myself, Matt kept at it even after killing one wasp species resulted in another more aggressive species moving in until he found the winning combination to rid me of the problem. He's gone above and beyond taking care of other pests in my yard and treating pest entry points for the house plus making it out to help with little notice when I start seeing the assorted pests moving back in. Today while taking care of yard work we saw a single yellow jacket

I called and booked my appointment within 4 minutes. Easy to talk to and is more than happy to answer any questions. Matt arrived on time, educated me on common pests in my area, and even offered to help unload my moving truck!
I have seen many dead bugs outside my home perimeter, so that tells me what he sprayed is working. Matt is an all around great guy that provides excellent customer service! Highly recommend this company.

Matt was terrific. He came all the way to Bear Lake to deal with a mouse problem in the crawl space. He put out various traps and sealed the foundation. Throughout, he explained in detail what he would do. He gave us options. He also reassured us about our concerns for our pets. He stayed 3 hours but the charge was reasonable. Our mouse problem is gone. We highly recommend.

I don't think I've ever had a better and easier experience! Matt was prompt, professional, and went the extra mile. It used to be such a pain to have to deal with the spiders and bugs during the summer months. Now, I don't even give it a second thought. Since he's been here, I haven't seen a single one!
