Our equipment is specifically designed for the type of chimney we are servicing whether it be a large masonry fireplace, furnace flue, or metal factory built chimney system.
At United Chimney, we do all Masonry repairs. United Chimney builds new fireplaces and chimney's from the ground up as well as rebuilding them. United Chimney builds fire boxes, floors, side walls and back walls. United Chimney also builds fireplace dampers custom welded to fit your project. United Chimney repairs cracks in smoke shelves and chambers.

Our former chimney service company referred us to United Chimney Service. We were very pleased with Andy's service. Our appointment was only two days after we called. Andy arrived on schedule. He was courteous, efficient, and cleaned up after himself. He also covered up furniture to prevent it from getting dirty. We recommend this service to anyone in need of chimney cleaning.

Wow #1: One week service! Texted them on Wednesday, someone came out Friday to look at the chimney that needed repair, and Monday we had a very reasonable quote. Work was done on Wednesday.
Wow #2: We couldn't go up on the roof to inspect, so they showed us Before and After photos showing what they did. They even painted it so it looked just like it did before.

I have now hired Tony and his crew at United Chimney Services twice, which I think speaks clearly how I feel about United Chimney. For the first job, I hired them to remove some broken bricks on my fireplace and then add a few rows on top to bring my mantel into code compliance. The existing brick was rather unique and Tony was able to find a good match an then installed the bricks in time for me to have my remodel inspected and keep the rest of the construction moving on schedule.

We moved into our new house knowing from the previous owners that the fireplace and chimney needed some work. I called United Chimney Services and they were available the following week (which is amazing leading up to the holiday season!). Andy came out and did a very thorough inspection, and gave me a written estimate of all the work that needed and should be done. I then called Dee at the office, and was able to schedule the repairs about 3 weeks out. That day, Tony, Harvey and Cedro came to start working. They were very thorough and did amazing work. We had to get the backwall of our fireplace

I hired them today to fix my chimney, replace the damper and the top of my chimney. They were awesome, professional, friendly and very helpful in explaining everything to me. We had the fireplace repaired at our 1920s cottage with United Chimney of Menlo Park in November. The chimney was inspected and cleaned, cracks repaired, the aging fire box rebuilt, flue insert and damper installed and a new 'smokestack' and cap (I don't know the technical terms) placed on the top of the chimney, to better draw the air upward and out of the house. We needed to remove our fireplace due to it taking lots of space in the house. The owner Tony came over and gave us a quote. Tony was very friendly and professional. Called them to make an appointment last week, set it up with the secretary for Thursday afternoon. Needless to say nobody showed up or called. called the office to see what as happened I was told by the secretary that she will check and give me a call back. It has been 3 days still waiting for that phone call.

Tony and his team just finished fixing a crack between our house and our two story chimney. They also discovered a rusty water heater vent on our roof which they fixed by replacing the flashing. Tony's son Andy had previously been at our home for a thorough chimney sweep.
We were very impressed by their professionalism, customer service, and just plain friendliness. Excellent communicators. We plan on scheduling yearly chimney cleanings with them going forward.
