They take to long to get repairs done, in addition they rarely have the parts needed for your car repair so you have to wait even longer, even though I made an appointment for a specific job to be down they still didn't order the part ahead of time which made the repair time much longer than it needed to be . I brought my car in clean it was freshly washed. I got it back filthy and I thought owning a Genesis gives you some type of perks like getting your car back clean; but I guess not with Stockton Hyundai. I didn't feel like a priority customer be cause when the part finally arrived

Forgive me for the long review, but there is a back story that is important to this review. I bought a brand new 2020 Hyundai Kona from Central Valley Hyundai in Modesto back in August. I put about 100 miles a day on it as I use it to commute back and forth to work. On 10/30/20 I took it to Valvoline to have the oil changed (I was not told that I had 36mo/36,000 miles of free maintenance by my salesperson at Central Valley Hyundai). I dreaded taking my 2013 Elantra in for re call service I had a steering issue (coupler ) But those guys took care of me ! I felt like I could of gotten the warranty but I missed it by 25k lol so I had to pay or maybe it was my SF Giants Hat ! If you guys read this Take your Hyundai to Stockton

I took my bright blue Hyundai Ionic in for a service repair. Tim is very courteous and polite with customers. My vehicle needed repair which is important for its fuel efficiency. I added that I'd like a curtesy car wash after.
I had my son pick up the car because I was working. And the car was not given the curtesy car wash. But next time..don't forget Hyundai of Stockton. Thanks!

This is for the 'service' department.
Once again, the Genesis brand will never compete with the big boys until the service departments deliver real service.

These folks are unable to tell a customer if the work is covered by the manufacturer's warranty.

"Well, we cannot tell you if the work is covered (warranty) until we get into it".

So, if they take 2 hours of labor (only to find out that one part is not covered) the customer is on the hook for all labor? 'Yes'.

It is straight forward. There are exact parameters to work within regarding warranty work

I had bought my car from this location 4 years ago and used to always have my service done here until it became more convenient to have it done at the Tracy dealership. Long story short, I've always had unpleasant experiences with the staff in Tracy and decided to come back to Stockton. I instantly remembered why I liked this location best. So outgoing and friendly! Even after the service took longer than expected they made sure to make it right. So happy I came back here and will continue to due so for all my car service needs!

Revision, 2019 Hyundai Tucson 6 months old and already had to take to dealer twice. Once for ac going out after two weeks of purchase took 7 days to get back. Now engine lite is on. I was told to bring it in and ask for Xavier. When i got there i was told that Xavier was not in just to find out IT WAS XAVIER THAT I WAS TALKING TO. Needless to say I was pissed. Now they are refusing to work on my car. Saying i need to take to another dealer. They lack professionalism and integrity DO NOT BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. If I could give negative stars I would.

The only reason I'm giving two stars is because of the older gentleman who's always nice in service . BUUT I purchased a car from them the brakes were horrible and the blinker wasn't working they ordered a part cool put it in cool the blinker still DOES NOT work what was the point . It's mis matched light bulbs so one looks bright white and the other a dim yellow so fine I have to work I can't spend another day for them to have my car so I figure I'll take it in when I have time so they can fix my car properly ( this work was done free ) so I feel it was a rush job

I took my car in because it had sputtered power and it was blowing black smoke. It had leaky valves so they promptly replaced the engine. The problem was the mechanic forgot to clear the codes so the check engine light was on and the o2 sensor was not properly diagnosed. Consequently, I had to take it in again for diagnosis and then I had to bring it in for replacement. At least four hours of waisted time because the mechanic wanted to go home early. The service department was courteous and apologetic, although it wasn't their fault. The wash was really good, but there were many dried water

I had the best experience buying my 2019 Hyundai Elantra from Stockton Hyundai. They treated me like I was family and the process was so easy. I gave Stockton Hyundai's Service Dept. 5 stars because they earned it. Having purchased a certified pre-owned Tucson at that dealership, and then coming back for ongoing service, I have to say that I grow to love this car of mine more and more, that she continues to perform beautifully, and that her driver is very satisfied. Pulled up to service department. No one greets me or acknowledges me. I walked into the service office and still was not acknowledged by the two men sitting there. I let them know that my check engine light was on and needed it to be checked before continuing on my road trip. One man let me know that all service techs were unavailable and it would be at least and hour before they could help. After receiving 0 help from the dealership where I have a warranty! I drove to autozone where they read the code in less than a minute. Lesson learned this deal ship sucks and you might as well find the closest

Horrible horrible communication and service from the parts/services part of Stockton Hyundai. Bought a car from them a few years back and whenever I took it in they were not knowledgeable on what I needed and their customer service didn't make it any better. I ordered a part from them a while back, they were supposed to call me and NEVER did. When I followed up to see where it was, they said the part had been there for a while, and because they had replaced their staff they somehow forgot to reach out to let me know. I decided to give them one more try, I called twice this and last week leaving

I'm echoing the comments about Xavier. He hooked me up. I had some highway debris wrap around my exhaust, and Xavier managed to squeeze me in for vehicle service even though he had no obligation to do so. I was in and out in under 30 minutes. Go in and ask for Xavier.

Xavier is the best!!!! He was friendly, thorough, and even honored my other dealerships oil change price. You don't get much better of an employee then Xavier! Hyundai of Stockton if you haven't given this guy a raise lately you should.

HYUNDAI owners beware! I received an invitation to trade my 2012 Sonata in for a great discount on a new car. Short story, not a good deal, less than what we owed was the trade in offer from them (car is in excellent condition). I stayed and listened and when I got fed up I had to walk out! They, yes they, followed me out BUT could they give me back my keys or registration? I was so angry I left without both. They called so I went back and they gave me my keys...but no registration. . .I went in for another RECALL and asked for my registration. They said come back later. When I went to pick up

Whenever I've gotten any recall notices, this is the spot where I take my car to get serviced. While I don't mind waiting to get all the recalls fixed in one visit, I was initially told that it was would be about a 2-hour wait to fix both recalls. The previous time I took my car in, the plush leather couches made the waiting bearable, but this time my hubby picked me up since we had errands to run. After 4 hours without a phone call from the dealership, I was relieved that I hadn't waited there. After dropping my car off at 10:30 a.m., I finally got a phone call just before 5:00

I just brought my car in for recall work and it was done in 30 minutes as promised! Excellent customer service! I will bring my car by when it needs actual service and hope the level continues. Parts department was very helpful during my visit.
I was surprised that I didn't get approached by a salesman considering I was looking at new cars the whole time I was waiting.

I received notice of the recall from Hyundai in the mail. It also gave me a website location to make an appointment with the local dealership which is in Stockton. Although I received a confirmation code and an appointment, the dealership had no record of my appointment when I arrived. So much for being technology convenient. The Service clerk said that he didn't have a record, and that it has happened repeatedly, but said they could accommodate me. After going to the manual check in process I did report it to their manager. The waiting room was typical. The service was on time. And they threw
