They evacuated 17 (2 ft.) holes adjacent to the foundation and drove the piers hydraulically into the ground. My house required over 40 feet of steel pipe in each pier to reach down to loadbearing strata which is deeper than the average for Plano.

We knew our house had foundation problems, but did not know to what extent. We got three bids on repair of our foundation. One of them was Chuck at Accu-lift foundation. He was referred to us from a friend of the family who was an engineer and had spent several years working with him. I told Chuck I wanted to write this letter of reference.
Can you explain? It is important that the customer is clear on what type of pier is being offered when comparing bids. Making an informed decision can be the difference between a successful, trouble-free repair and a complete waste of money. There are far too many instances where people have paid more than once to have their foundation repaired.

I would highly recommend that if you have any issues with your foundations, need piering, mudjacking, polyjacking or anything to do with your foundation that you reach out to Acculift! I met with the owner Karen who is a structural engineer. She told me exactly what was going on with my porch and what needed to be done. Appointment was scheduled and work was done in one day. Highly highly recommend this company! Our experience has been fantastic with them from the beginning all the way through the completion of the job. We had a garage that had settled and Karen knew exactly what to do! We had contacted other companies when getting estimates and felt like we were working with a salesperson who may or may not have a tremendous amount of experience in the field which didn’t leave us feeling very confident investing in their recommendations. I wish I could say I was happy with their services... Bud came out and didn’t seem very interested to say the least. He took down all my information and let me know he would send over a quote immediately. We have waited over a week to hear from him we have waited over a week to hear from him, still nothing...
