Hargrave and Hargrave, Inc., was founded in 1968 by Richard M. Hargrave. Mr. Hargrave (Pop) began his experience by leveling and preparing houses for transport in the 1960's. Growing tired from the stress of transporting houses from Dallas to the countryside, he decided to start a new company leveling homes (that did not have to be moved).
We at Hargrave and Hargrave utilize the CHANCE Helical Pier Foundation System. This system offers a technically superior and cost-effective alternative to other remedial systems. Our system is backed by more than 80 years of structural engineering experience. The concept is founded on the principle of turning a helical (screw) pier into stable subsoil strata until the torque applied indicates that the necessary load capacity has been achieved.

The helical pier foundation can be devised to resist or support any load or applications.
The repairs shall be guaranteed against defects in workmanship and/or materials for a period of 72 Months (6 years). Should or more settlement occur to the repaired area due to defects in workmanship and/or materials within such 72 Months (6 years) period as confirmed by either a Hargrave & Hargrave representative or an engineer of Hargrave's choice, Hargrave agrees to correct such defect at no expense to customer or new owner.

We had a wonderful experience with this company. Always appreciate a local company that does their best to provide honest quotes. Our house has no major concerns and we checked both the rainy and dry season. Only a few cosmetic which is a relief. I know they need business, but you have no idea how much respect I have for a trustworthy company not looking to make a buck off of you in that moment. If any issues arise in the future they will be the first company I call. Thank you so much.

Every time I call for them to come look at a property they are booked out three to four weeks. Caleb that use to work there would make a point to work me in. Now since he has left the company I am going to have to find a company with little more urgency. They did my house and several others I refer they do work but the person answering the phone could care less about getting business.

In 2014, as part of a suit filed against my builder, I obtained an estimate from an independent structural engineering firm. I believe it was for 17 piers, and as many as 8 were interior piers.
As the conflict with my builder drew to a settlement, I found that because my home was still technically "under warranty," the large foundation companies who pump thousands into advertising also apparently accept thousands of dollars from large area builders, and therefore refused to even meet with me.
Hargrave was recommended by 2 different real estate agents. At that time, I'm not even sure that a majority

Honesty and Integrity! These are the words I would use to describe this company. So refreshing in this day and age. Chris was extremely knowledgeable and so helpful. He gave me some suggestions and asked me to call him back in a few months to see where we are. I will definitely be using this company if we need foundation repairs.

We had Hargrave & Hargrave come out to check our foundation before putting our house on the market to sell. They were great! Chris was very knowledgeable about foundations and explained everything to me in a way I could understand. We ended up not needing any repairs at this time but I will definitely be calling them again in the future if we do need repairs. Very honest trustworthy company!

We have had 6 foundation companies provide quotes (yes it's alot and wasn't meant to be that much in the beginning) but Chris was the first one to say we did not need to repair our foundation. He provided so much information and education; we are very grateful.
And now I understand when I read reviews that say 6 months- 1 year after a company has installed piers that they have even more problems than before. We would highly recommend getting a quote from Hargrave and Hargrave. Thank you Chris!

They are great, customer service is over the top Came promptly on the appointment time for quote and repair. Great job doing the work and did exactly what we were told and price we were quoted. Cleaned up after and hauled off, very little mess. So far so good our foundation is solid and we have not had any problems.

We have now used Hargrave and Hargrave on TWO homes. They did such a good job on the first home that when we moved, and the new home needed foundation work, we did not hesitate to call Hargrave and Hargrave.
I should add that in the first home we lived there many years after Hargrave and Hargrave fixed the foundation, and we never had any future issues, so it was obvious to us they did the job right. Hence the reason for using them a second time. It has been three years since they fixed the foundation on this current house and it has had no further trouble, so it appears they did yet another great

I was very impressed with the foundation repair system used by Hargrave and Hargrave. Their workers are honest and will not over state the work needed. They have an A plus accreditation with BBB and have been in business since 1968. We researched and received six bids before making our choice. I highly recommend them.
