Tom's honest assessment has, at the very least, curtailed some work. Looks like there are some professionals still out there that will give you an objective evaluation that doesn't automatically translate to $'s for them. Foundation repairs can be pricey and if you are concerned about overly ambitious foundation repair "opportunists" get a hold of Tom to get an honest appraisal of what the issue is. You may not like what he has to say but at least you'll be able to count on it.

I met Tom back in 1998 and he gave me a quote on my house of $2450 when 2 others companies were $7k or more. He did the work and it was great and passed all inspections after. I was a realtor for over 21 years and I have referred Tom to many customers. I never had a negative comment or issue on any home that I sent him to. He gave a clean inspection on a number of houses that other companies said would be $5-10 k in repairs. I have never met a more honest man in the construction field.

I had such a wonderful experience with Tom. He was referred to me by a friend who had glowing recommendations for him. He came by to evaluate my foundation and I could not believe how thorough and honest he was. He took the time to show me around my house and explained that there was nothing wrong with my foundation. Even after we finished and he was on his way out, I realized I forgot to ask him to check out my backyard. He got out of his car to take the time to check it out. He was so friendly and patient! I highly recommend his services!

I appreciated so much about working with Mr. Dodson. When he first came out to give an estimate on leveling our 80 year old home, he brought his assistant Misty with him. As a woman home with her children I appreciated the respect and kindness they both showed to my kids and my house. They took their time and made very detailed measurements. Other companies sent people who used no equipment and gave an estimate within 5 minutes without even looking in every room. The care, attention, and thorough communication was present throughout our entire experience. I would not hesitate to call Dodson foundation

Dodson Foundation Repair is a reliable company. They came out and inspected our foundation for us. We were worried we were going to have to spend a bundle on a foundation repair. It turned out it was just Mother Nature takin it’s course. They saved us a bundle and educated us on how the ground moves. If we ever end up needing an actual repair, I know who to call. 😃

Strongly recommend Mr. Dodson! Was expecting the worst, Mr. Dodson walked me through what my real foundations issues were and what was needed to fix, significantly less than I expected. Never felt any sales pressure, or additional work that was not needed. Clearly Mr. Dodson is more concerned with creating a satisfied customer, and solving problems than trying to squeeze every penny out of me!
