10/2020 We were so happy with the first services that we had Canterbury back for additional work (Fireplace door gasket installation and chimney / wood stove insert cleaning). Chimney cleaning was the best service in 10 years. Joe was the first sweep to completely remove and clean the catalytic. Others have vacuumed the front but have never taken the time to fully clean the unit. Joe takes real care to keep the area clean by laying down plastic / covers and venting the vacuum exhaust outside.

Great service, punctual, professional and very much affordable. The service personal was extremely professional and courtious. He took the time to walk us through everything with my chimney/ liner / insulation, how to's and things to look out for. He was honest with us, and let us know how to harness maximum efficiency of wood stove insert. They have gone above and beyond in their call. I have hired many chimney sweep services before and I find these folks honest. I highly recommend them.

I don't review companies good or bad, I figure there are enough people putting their opinions about just about everything online, with that being said, I'm breaking that guideline. Joe from Canterbury Sweeps is wonderful. The entire experience was seamless, he was on time, explained professionally yet in an easy to understand way what needed to happen to our fireplace and chimney. I felt very comfortable that I was not getting over quoted for the work that needed to be done. We have been using Canterbury Sweeps to clean our chimneys since the ‘90s- both our old house and current house. In addition, they have built and refurbished chimneys for us as well. They always do great work and inspect the chimneys with each cleaning. I rely on them to help us keep our chimneys safe. The staff is pleasant and knowledgeable and they are always prompt.

I have worked with Canterbury Sweeps on several occasions to mainly clean my wood burning fireplace. They do great clean work and are very consultative in their approach which I appreciate each time they clean my fireplace which is every other year or so depending on how much I use it a season. They recently found water leaking because my aging system and provided me fast and cost efficient service. I would strongly recommend Canterbury Sweeps to anyone with fireplace. Good , clean, efficient and honest work.

On time, professional & gave a full detailed report and tips for using our fireplace. We’ve never owned one, so the tech gave us a clear run down on operation and maintenance. Took off shoes everytime he entered, put down mats to protect the floor while cleaning and cleaned up swiftly. Will use them in the future and recommend!
