About Us Report

I was born near Boston and moved to Tampa Bay prior to my high school years. I attended Florida State University (Go NOLES) for my undergraduate degree and graduated in 2000. I moved to Athens, GA and attended the University of Georgia (Go DAWGS) to obtain my master's degree in Audiology in 2002. I had the honor to work at Bay Pines VA, as a clinical Audiologist during my clinical residency year from 2002-2003.

If you a hearing loss is detected after your exam, we will work with you to find the best solution to treat your hearing needs. Tinnitus is the perception of sound when there is no physical source of it around, and usually no one else can hear it. Even if you purchased your hearing aid at a different clinic we will try everything in our power to fix them while you wait.

Hearing loss is a condition that interferes with one's ability to understand speech clearly. Hearing loss affects speech recognition and for the majority who are affected by this condition, hinders their ability to understand speech in noisy environments. Approximately 15% of adults in the United States are affected by some form of hearing loss.

ITE hearing aids are a great choice for people with limited dexterity, as they are easy to handle. Being the largest of the in the ear type of hearing aids, they can accommodate a variety of extra features including a stronger receiver to produce more volume and a Telecoil. It's possible to adjust the volume with this model, and a remote control or manual push button lets you select different programs.

Tinnitus Report

Tinnitus is the perception of hearing sound when there is no sound source making it. The most common form of tinnitus is subjective, that is, only the person with the sound can hear it. Much less common is something called objective tinnitus which can be heard by other people too. Tinnitus is a common health condition in the US, with an estimated 45 million Americans living with these frustrating and distracting sounds.

We recently became aware that my husband’s hearing was not selective!!! Brian did a very extensive exam/consultation and helped us learn just how much hearing loss my husband had experienced. He listened to our concerns and fit him with great top of the line hearing aids specific to his needs at a very competitive price!
After bringing the hearing aids home we realized they weren’t working in the environment and with his brain like originally hoped. Brian was able to switch us to another brand quickly that offered an immediate remedy to the problems we experienced.

Greater Atlanta Hearing was a lifeline. I was visiting family in Peachtree Corners when I suffered a break in the wire of my two piece hearing aid. Faced with the prospect of being unable to hear well for the duration of my trip, I reach out to Greater Atlanta Hearing. Brian was very professional and explained my hearing loss and what needed to be done to get it corrected. I am a previous hearing aid wearer and knew what I was looking for. Brian went above trying to get the aids to my liking. I am very happy with them and they have a musician setting that I use when playing in bands or listening to music. Brian Jones, with Greater Atlanta Hearing, is the best Audiologist I have had the pleasure to deal with since I began wearing hearing aids in 2014. Between 2014 and 2020 I had visited and been examined by an EN&T doctor, 2 audiologists and 1 hearing instrument specialist and none of those could match the satisfaction I obtained in resolving my hearing issues after seeing Brian Jones in December 2020.
I found Brian knowledgeable, professional, and up to date in the available technology, procedures and devices for me to make my best analytical choice to resolve my hearing situation. It was well
