They were prompt in scheduling an appointment and the owner and his wife were lovely to talk to. We have a problem where our upstairs is 10-15 degrees hotter than downstairs and therefore neither temp is desirable. The tech they sent took a quick look at our heater, told us to run the fan and change our filter. Other than that he said there wasn't anything he could do. Except get another heater for downstairs but when we inquired he said they don't do larger jobs as they would take away from their smaller customers. So we just donated $200 to this company for them to tell us to run the

We have been depending on Heald Mechanical for over 10 years. Greg and Doug have done HVAC work for my wife & I, and plumbing. They are great! They are dependable, talented, honorable and reasonable. They have rescued us from clogged pipes on holidays, blown water heaters (while we were gone on vacation) and HVAC systems that stopped functioning at the worst possible times. I love these guys! Our HVAC quit on us suddenly, so we called a couple of different companies to take a look/quote us on getting it repaired. Doug came out and diagnosed the problem, which unfortunately ended up being that we needed a replacement (it was over 20 years old). He was very knowledgeable and didn’t try to upsell us on anything. In fact, compared to other quotes we got, his price was most aggressive. Being that it it gets below freezing temps at night, we needed a replacement ASAP, so he scheduled us two days later. He and his crew did great work and now we have heat again!

Today one of the techs for this company attempted to get in to my boyfriends apartment. We did not have a service call and we were not expecting anyone. The tech tried to get in to the apartment for 5 minutes. I got to the door after realizing the door knob sound was for our place rather than a neighbors and I saw a shadowed figure aggressively trying to get in. I saw him walk away then he came right back, this repeated 3 times and I almost got a knife to open the door with. Instead he walked away and disappeared. By the time my boyfriend was able to make it back, the guy was no where to be found

Heald Mechanical is the best! Greg and Doug came over this morning. While Greg was repairing our AC unit, Doug checked out the attic, crawlspace and duct work. Greg had all the parts on his truck and in about 45 minutes got the AC back up and running smoothly.
A week ago, another HVAC company (whose name I won't mention) sent over a "technician" who concluded the AC wasn't worth repairing followed by the inevitable sales pitch to try and get us to buy an expensive, new HVAC system.

Heald Mechanical recently came out to fix my HVAC, and you can imagine how awesome it was that they came out on a Saturday less than twelve hours after being called. Greg was the specific person who came out, along with an assistant. These guys, from the start, were professional in every aspect.
