Starritt Construction did a major remodel of our 50-year-old two-story house in San Jose. Work included new windows, new exterior and interior doors, a newly designed kitchen and three bathrooms, new hardwood floors, additional insulation in both the exterior walls and floors, new stucco siding, major plumbing and electrical upgrades, and more. We also added a laundry room within the existing footprint of the house. Mark and Timer devoted nearly all their time to our project over its six-month duration, so there were no delays due to diverted attention. Both Mark and Timer were very hands-on and

Timer and Mark had done a re-modeled of our home in Gilroy and we were pleased with the results. So when it came time to build our 3300 Sq. Ft. custom home in Willow Glenn we knew we wanted to work with them again. The experience was an enjoyable one from start to finish. The timeline for the construction was met with no delays or cost overruns. Their knowledge and craftsmanship was greatly appreciated and was evident in the finished home. It was a pleasure to work with them and would use them again.

My wife and I have used Starritt Construction several times. First to build our home in Morgan Hill. The company did a tremendous job - on budget, despite a couple of plan changes, and on time (less than a year) despite issues with our window supplies. Starritt's quality was great, workers were respectful and easy to work with. Over the years when we asked Starritt to help use out on several other issues, they quickly responded and completed quality work, again on time and on budget. We have had very positive experiences with Starritt construction and would use and recommend them again. Very good

In 1987 we bought our present home, which had just been newly constructed by Starritt Construction. Last year we decided to take the large existing space above the garage (1300 sq feet) and finish it into an apartment (ADU). We decided to go with the Starritt's since we had been living in their quality construction for the past 33 years. Mark Starritt was contacted and a plan was set. What we ended up with was essentially a totally new home. The structure was here but everything inside the unit had to be constructed and finished. The project has been completed and we are very happy with the results

We hired Starritt Construction to build a single family home. It took 3 years to complete.
My recommendation to anyone who is considering hiring Starritt Construction for anything – DON”T.
You will receive poor quality work, a lack of communication, work performed and charged without approvals.
Starritt began construction prior to permit approvals. This placed us on watch by the city and county through out the project. Starritt refused to keep the site clean and in accordance with site environmental requirements. County warnings were ignored time and time again, resulting in the project
