I can't say I had high expectations. We're new to Oregon and didn't have a line on a good blinds supplier or installer. We got VERY lucky. We contacted blindsgalore.com and got a good deal on solar-powered, exterior shades for an atrium that's practically all windows (14). On their site we had an option to use a service called National Blinds Installation which links you up with local people who can measure and/or install your blinds. Having failed in the past to measure blinds correctly, I went for this service and got hooked up with DieHard Blinds. The initial measurer came

If the pandemic has taught us anything, it is that we need to be patient. Seems like everything is either delayed, out of stock, or has an indeterminate timeline for delivery. That is not true diehard blinds. They deliver right away, with the highest degree of craftsmanship and attention to detail.
We moved into a new home, and the blinds in the were . . . Shall we say, failing. Miserably! I called diehard blinds, and within 72 hours a technician was out at our house - fixing the blinds and assessing all our window treatments to make sure everything operated well. Talk about customer service

They were punctual and the blinds they removed for cleaning were cleaned well. Unfortunately the blind they removed for restringing on one side is now lopsided. I did not pull the blind up to check to see whether it was even or not, I assumed the technician would have done that, regardless, when I pull the blind up it has a tilt to it. To be fair, I haven't called them to let them know as I don't open that blind often. But I would think they should check their own work upon installation.

After some slight problems with the first installation of new shades in our new home (mostly due to less than ideal construction of our ceiling - lack of sheet rock in some corners), Diehard made time to come back out twice to make repairs and reinstall our shades and were very courteous and helpful! We are very happy that they were able to make sure the job got finished and done right! Mark was great to work with!

Had a great experience having DieHard come over and repair various blinds issues. Some were jammed, some huge re-stringings, and some were small re-stringings... they did it all and in good time. They arrived as planned and were courteous and diligent and a pleasure to talk to. In the end the price was as estimated and well within reason. I will definitely be sticking with DieHard for all my blinds needs.
