This is the most amazing family-owned business. They were so knowledgeable and helpful, and went completely out of their way to fix our blinds and to source almost impossible-to-find parts. They took personal interest in us and treated us like neighbors, not just customers. Would absolutely bring my blinds back here again and highly recommend them to others!

I'll admit I almost passed the shop on my first time arriving, the location is rather unassuming; located in a garage in a neighborhood. The folks were quick to take my order and gave a fair price. When I spoke over the phone I had a more accurate estimate of about a week; in shop they estimated about 2 weeks. The turn around was quick, I'm happy with their work. They didn't upsell me anything I didn't need and repaired rather than fully restring one set of blinds I brought in. I do wish the cord pulls matched what I brought in, but maybe I'm just picky. They threw in a free wand because there

Off schedule. Was supposed to be ready in a week. After two and a half weeks and giving the company the benefit of the doubt for various unexpected delays I called to check on repairs . The so called "receptionist" who took the call about the repair was extremely rude (no fault of my own) and then proceeded to hang up on me after crudely saying "Got your number, we'll call you back". Worst customer service I have experienced.

If I could, I'd give this company more stars. Ed DeMille is a man of few words but big on action. We ordered Graber dual cell pleated blinds from The Blind Repair Shop and they were delivered in very timely manner. After Ed brought the unopened boxes and installed them we realized that Graber had delivered heavy duty blackout blinds. Thinking we'd recieved something more than we ordered I didn't complain. At first we loved these heavy duty pleated blinds. The insulating factor was excellent. I would highly recommend them if you are looking for blackout blinds. However after a time they were so

We decided to have these folks restring two of our blinds after being turned off by the extremely high prices for new panels. They saved us a boat load. Good customer service. Just drove over from Portland, dropped them off, and picked them up a week later. Excellent value.

When I arrived, I was not even sure that this was the right place. It's just a garage, but there was a sign that they were open, so I entered. I need a 1.2 mm cord to repair a blind. The staff were really nice, helpful, and they had what I needed. They sold me 40 yards of the cord for $15.95. Just for comparison, you could get 100 yards of the same from Amazon for $7.89. Well, that's definitely something to consider.

The ladies that I met in the shop was extremely rude and very unfriendly. Ed did a great job of cleaning and also of ordering new blinds for one of my rooms. I'm not sure if I will use them again if I have to deal with that woman. I did forget to mention that she wanted to charge me $19 for a mini blind wand. I picked one up at Home Depot for $4.99.

Brought my large Hunter Douglas blind in for repair (one of the cords snapped). It cost roughly $50 for around a 70” wide cellular blind repair. Ed finished faster than he quoted it would take and the cords glide much smoother than they did before. Very friendly people on the phone and in store. I would most definitely recommend this shop to anyone in need of blinds repair.

Went in for DIY repair parts and the owner knew just what I needed. He had a blind being repaired that he let me look at and this helped me a lot. I was able to repair my blind in under 15 minutes.

This company was started in 2005 after the original Venetian Blind Repair Shop in Portland, Oregon closed do to the owners retirement.
In 2009,the company expanded with an online store so customers could buy the parts needed to repair their own blinds and shades.
We acknowledge that all of our growth and success is directly due to our customers. We look forward to helping with all of your blind and shade needs and we appreciate your business.
