We design and build hardwood staircases and railings. We specialize in straight, curved, circular, and spiral stairs using the finest hardwoods and offer traditional, modern, and craftsman styles. Both wood and iron balusters are available so we have the ability to meet your project design specifications.
Fireplace mantels and mantel shelves when built and installed properly can be the centerpiece of the room. We will work with you to help design a custom fireplace mantel that is just right your room. Our designs can enhance any traditional wood-burning fireplace or electric and gas fireplaces. It does not matter if your mantel is for a new build, major remodel, or just a facelift to replace your existing fireplace mantel.
Mouldings add so much to the interiors of homes and offices. R & R Hardwood offers a full range of decorative hardwood and MDF mouldings. We have baseboards, window casings, chair rails and crown mouldings. Our custom curved mouldings and archways have been installed and admired across southern California.
Wainscot paneling can contribute to the beauty and style to your house. These panels typically measure three to four feet high, though we offer full wall paneling options too. Panels can be recessed and raised on the wall. Other patterns include bead board, shiplap, and tongue and groove. There are numerous wainscot panel styles, designs and combinations to suit your taste and goals.
R & R Hardwood offers personal guidance and service for your new cabinets. We can design and build custom cabinets to meet your specifications. Our custom bathroom cabinets and vanities add storage and counter space while also providing beauty to small and large bathrooms alike. We design, build and install entertainment centers, linen cabinets, and bookcases to add storage and function to living areas and offices.

R&R made two rails for my dad's home. I should say, they made one rail. Which my dad loved so much that he decided he really wanted two--one on each side of the two steps leading to the 'rumpus room'. He loves them. LOVES. THEM. The rails, that is. He's also a fan of R&R.
It was supereasy and completely pleasant to work with the team from R&R. They have plenty of photos online to help navigate the discussion of options and designs, and they're knowledgable and friendly about helping you figure out what needs to happen and how to do it.

Dennis and Kevin were fantastic. Highly highly recommend! I contacted multiple companies to put in railing on our new stairs during our remodel and actually couldn't find anyone for a reasonable rate who specialized in railing and was knowledgeable. My dad actually found R and R Hardwood after some online research and after the first conversation with Dennis I was so happy we didn't pay 3 times as much for someone who didn't know what they were doing. I wasn't sure if they would service my area (Redondo Beach) at first but they go everywhere in LA. Super friendly guys, efficient

I'm so excited to get started on the moulding for my living room. I was told I couldn't get moulding because of the coved bay windows but Kevin says he can miter the corners for a beautiful result. I just have to make a final decision on the moulding. Once again you have come through with a solution - like you found with the repair on my mirrored table. I never even think of using anyone else! I know my parents will be just as happy with the wood work in their backyard.

We had Dennis design our staircase to replace the original one which was getting rather old (built in 1988). We wanted some of the walls that were running along the side of our staircase removed to open up the area. Dennis and Kevin had no problem in doing so. We had our new staircase designed in Maplewood (treads, risers and landing) along with rod iron, Maplewood newels, skirts and a beautiful continuous railing riding over the top. My wife and I knew it would turn out great but it exceeded our expectations. R & R Hardwood (Dennis & Kevin) make a great team.Their attention to detail in
