Great service installer Rafael, But Mike Moran was the worst business owner I have ever experienced. Built awning to a different dimension than quote. No notification of any change, we offered to pay balance due and use wrong awning over different door and build a new one to the agreed upon size. He refused said would throw in trash , this is after we waited two months.
Terrible experience and just plain rude to deal with. Really no Stars should be the posting.

If I could give zero stars I truly would. I was referred to this business by another business owner who was unable to provide what I was looking for but thought these guys would fit the bill. I called and talked to Ron, the owner, and he was probably the rudest business owner I have ever come across. He did not even let me explain what I wanted a quote for before cutting me off rudely, saying they were very busy, had at least 8 weeks of work, and (essentially) would have to "get in line". Im unsure if the amount of business he has is getting to his head but that is a terrible way to

Absolutely outstanding customer service!! Our beautiful shade cloth just blew down after at least seven years and they came out and fixed it for free!! I was stunned by their loyalty to customers and their commitment to their excellent product! Thank you Moran Canvas, you are awesome!!!

Unfortunately Moran's seem to be a victim of their own success meaning they are good and are very, very busy and their service has suffered greatly. We ordered a simple outdoor curtain mid-May after Vanessa came out and measured and gave us a quote a week later. The quote said delivery 4-5 weeks. At week 5 I called and when I talked to Vanessa she said it had to be field measured and that she had told my husband that when she was out (6 weeks earlier). Nothing like "I'm so sorry no one has called you to schedule this." Nope - just that comment. (Sadly we've experienced an attitude from Vanessa

I emailed them but got no response so i called. I spoke to Vanessa and she said that they have a 4 week wait for production. I informed her that its ok as long as we get a quote that we can submit to our HOA soon. She agreed and told me that someone will contact me.
On Friday, Mike called and said that he can come out to give us a quote. He came, made measurements and told us he will send us the quote.
On Monday, i called to inquire about the quote and Mike said that he never came to our home and do not have any record

As an Interior Designer i have high expectations and Moran Canvas exceeded them! The drape/awning they made for my own home turned out great. The sandbags and the way they attach (we are in windy area), the way everything works and the ease of use are excellent. Installation was fast and done well. Thank you Vanessa and I believe Paulette (?) for addressing my questions and I am very satisfied with the result!

This business is GREAT! Vanessa and Paulette are TOTALLY on top of the project! NO false promises and communicating throughout the process. My five awnings were installed 3 days ago and look AMAZING - they are keeping our sun-filled room MUCH cooler on this hot holiday weekend and we're really grateful - we will definitely recommend Moran!

Several years ago we purchased a used electrical awning from a neighbor that had been originally a purchase through Moran Canvas. Since it is now at least 12 years old it needed a new canvas. We live in the La Mesa area close to Moran Canvas so I decided to stop in to see if they could replace this for us.

We just hired them for the third time in four years on another project, and they came through for us again.
This time we needed a custom shade sail and to have some old awnings updated. The shade sail is fantastic, with custom brackets holding it In place and first-rate, stainless steel hardware. The old awning structures were newly powder coated, and then our newly selected fabric installed.
We wouldn't hesitate to hire Moran again, and we recommend them highly.

Thank you for the reply. I would have loved to have someone come out to actually look at the project. Unfortunately after sending pictures and emailing with Mike Moran, I was rudely spoken to and he wouldn't even consider giving my more details and speaking about what the project would entail even when I told him I was fine with the price. There is no excuse for poor customer service and just bad behavior.

Mike Moran and his team recently designed, built and installed a fantastic horizontal blind over our patio in north county San Diego. It was exactly the design and look we were hoping for.
Mike came to our house on a Saturday morning arriving exactly on time and only took 25 minutes to view the area, create the design and provide a quote. If only all contractors were so efficient. We were warned it would take a few weeks to be built but when it was ready they scheduled a time that worked for us and turned up on time and did a great job. I really can't fault them at all and wouldn't
