Brion got his start in the solar energy industry in 2003 as an installer at Mr. Sun Solar. During his 6 years at Mr. Sun, Brion installed and serviced hundreds of solar thermal systems throughout Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. A skilled craftsman and methodical thinker, Brion is responsible for the vision of Synchro Solar.
It's true that the solar energy industry relies heavily on state and federal incentives. It's not likely that incentives will get much better than they are now, in fact as rates of adoption increase, many are designed to decrease over time. Electricity rates are forecast to keep rising at a rate that exceeds inflation.
Solar is not new to us. Synchro Solar owner and lead installer Brion Wickstrom has installed hundreds of solar electric and solar thermal systems on homes, businesses, and farms throughout the Pacific Northwest. Our administrative staff is made up of experienced solar professionals who are passionate about helping homeowners and businesses alike go solar.

I recently had a home solar system installed by Synchro Solar and they did an amazing job from beginning to end. I got bids from several companies and although Synchro was not the cheapest option I appreciated that John actually took the time to come out to my house and meet me in person and take measurements from the roof. They were also able to work with us to modify the system in order to meet our needs and find a price we were comfortable with. The team communicated well throughout the process and was able to get the project done sooner than I expected. The installation team did a great job

Spoke to John at Syncrho this morning about a solar expansion project on my home and adding to my existing system. He thoughtfully and thoroughly explained the different options that I currently have left since my prime solar producing roof real estate is already full.
He went far beyond what was needed, and even explained the finer details of buying a virtual net meter community solar system that resides elsewhere in the state being more beneficial to me than adding panels to my home that might cost more than the power I get from Portland General.

A great experience with Synchro Solar. A very experienced and competent installation team, decent pricing and very responsive. My best experience of working with a contractor to date. I used to design and specify solar systems so was impressed that they could answer my technical questions so easily. To those that might receive a slightly cheaper offer from a national company, the expression "you get what you pay for" is never truer than with solar PV

It's rare that you have an experience that goes so far above and beyond good customer service, but my experience with synchro solar was just that. I was nervous to be general contracting between the roofers who were installing a new roof, and Syncho, who were removing and re-installing the solar system.
Synchro gave me good advice and understanding the whole way through the process. We had to change our plan halfway through the project, when the roof came off, and we discovered issues with the way the panels were originally mounted (by a different company). I was really worried, and asked both

I needed help with my off grid system and contacted Synchro Solar for my unique tiny home project. Brion, Justin and their team did an amazing job. They listened to what I needed and made helpful suggestions. They were professional, efficient, wore masks, and kept social distance during the entire project. I got bids from 5 companies. Synchro was the most knowledgeable and caring. Multiple visits to my home. Answered all my questions and more. The cost was similar for all the companies.
Install was magnificent. They had one team on staff and the team was smart and diligent.
They customized panels for me so mine are all black, no diamonds. Apparently that’s more attractive.
Panels have been up 3 months and so far working fine.

I had a Solar City array installed in 2012 on a roof that was deemed sufficiently new to survive the lease period. 3 years later, we had a leak, completely unrelated to the solar installation. Solar City agreed to remove and replace the unit for $500. When the roofer removed the shingles under the solar, they found evidence of massive leaks due to the installation. They documented the situation and provided a professional assessment. I provided this to Solar City, but they refused to accept responsibility. Forward three years from replacing the entire roof. Leif and his crew did a great job on the install and followed through with me to make sure the system was setup correctly (it was). The Synchro Solar staff were quite professional, client-friendly, and clear in their communications before, during, and after installation of our solar panels. They worked with us to remove and replace older panels during a re-roofing project, then added newer panels afterward to the existing array. The addition works seamlessly with the old. We are quite pleased with both the process and the outcome of their service.

As the sales manager for SolarWorld, I have had the pleasure of working with Synchro Solar for the past 5 years. They are known in the industry as having a stellar reputation among their peers. This year I had them install a 6.6kW SolarWorld system on my own house. They did everything exactly as they said they would, they took care of all the permiting, paperwork with PGE etc. It was a blast watching them install the system, which is running perfect.

Synchro Solar installed a ground mount array 200+ feet from the residence. They organized all materials to the owner's specifications, all permitting, all design and design approval etc.
