I would like to say, 'THANK YOU and GREAT JOB' to Andy. He came to fix our washing machine and even showed me how I could do it in case it happens again. He also fixed our ice maker in our refrigerator. It has been out of commission for a couple of years as we were told from a different appliance repair person that it could not be fixed.
Well, Andy proved that person wrong within 15-20 min. Very professional, respectful and polite. Highly recommend him and his company- I will be referring you to all of our friends and family! The washer is working great, wife did several loads over weekend and I washed garden tools and rocks (lol) to make sure the washer was still working.

Andy has fixed our refrigerators (Samsung and Whirlpool) twice in the last couple of years. Our old Samsung fridge died and he brought it back to life. Our Whirlpool fridge stopped dispensing water and making ice. He changed out the valve and restored the water flow. He is honest, reliable and very knowledgeable! We've referred him to various neighbors in the community over the years and would not call anyone else for our appliance needs.

I called about 2 weeks ago, I was out of town. I explained that my front load washer was leaking .
Allen said " when you get back check the door at the bottom, there might be some soap residue that may cause a leak " .
I thought that that was a cool thing to recommend.
Unfortunately that wasn't the case. I called and he came out the next day. He found the problem. He had to order the part . He returned within a week. We are up and running.
Allen is very personable and an awesome technician. I will definitely call him again if I need any repairs.

Andy was able to accurately solve the problem my 11 year old Admiral dryer was having- the timer in the dial! He ordered the replacement part, returned promptly and installed it. Now my dryer will be around longer and I didn't need to replace a solid, reliable machine. I'm pleased Andy left a handy magnet with his company info on my washer as I will be calling him again for my appliance repair needs.

Ok, I'm going to get all technical here, so put your techy caps on......recently my dryer started making a squealing noise, and beings that it's fairly new I figured it's repairable rather than replaceable. I got referred to Andy of Allen Appliance by another appliance repair guy...usually a good sign. I gave him a text and he responded right away. Andy was great in repairing our LG dryer. Loud thumping noises showed that new rollers were needed, in addition, Andy replaced the belt. He came over on New Year's Day, was prompt for the times quoted, explained every thing in detail. Of course I asked if the investment in the dryer would be worth it vs. buying new and he clearly explain the market, products and the machine that I had and his estimated longevity. A very fair price for an excellent repair. He kept the job site quite clean and was in and out in about an hour and a half. He easily took Venmo as a payment. Highly recommend Andy

We had the best experience with Allen Appliance. We had just moved into our home and the refrigerator and dryer both had issues. Andy came out the same day. He is patient and you can see he takes pride in what he does and goes the extra mile. I would not only use him again but would recommend him to anyone.

Reached out for a repair on a stacked washer/dryer unit. Very helpful, quick response, and even though we couldn't decipher the model number from the tag / get an exact estimate for the part / repair, he estimated the cost and helped me avoid an expensive repair (or even the cost of a visit) on an older appliance that wasn't worth the repair. Definitely will be using him going forward.

When our 17-year-old oven started malfunctioning, we needed to find a new appliance service tech as our previous one had passed away, someone we'd used for years. We got a referral to Andy at Allen Appliance from the Neighborhood Mission Viejo website and couldn't have been more pleased with the outcome. I called him on Monday and got an appointment for the next day. He showed up, diagnosed the problem, had the part on his truck and was finished with the repairs an hour later. Allen Appliance Repair!!! Can I just make a suggestion here? I had to have my GE Monogram built in fridge repaired yesterday, and I happened upon Allen Appliance repair (who the owner Andy happens to be an AV resident), and he came out, fixed the fridge at a very fair price (was here about two hours) and it's humming along perfectly today. … Finding someone you can trust dealing with home appliances is like finding a good mechanic or plumber. I'm gonna YELP him too, but he's a AV small business owner and I want to suggest, if you have an issue with ANY appliance, you allow him the opportunity

Andy was in and out in less than an hour. The price was more than fair. Fixed my dryer that was basically SCREAMING for the past 4 months. It's now quieter than ever. Even brought his own vacuum to clean up with when he was finished!
My favorite part about this visit from Andy: He swapped the hinges on our dryer door to make our lives easier (at no charge!!!). Now we don't have a dryer door in the way when trying to remove clothes from it!
Would recommend Allen Appliance in a heartbeat.

I've used Allen Appliance four times over the past five years. Two different washers, one at a business and one at our home, a dishwasher and today a refrigerator. Andy is the absolute best. He's prompt, knows what he's doing, years of experience and his prices are reasonable. At this point I wouldn't let anyone else work on any of our appliance issues.
