I am a realtor. I thought I just needed a gas valve key for a fireplace. Owner, Floyd, was the only one able to facilitate that quickly. When I discovered that the key was not the only problem, Floyd came right out within hours and came up with a solution. Got everything fixed in an hour at a reasonable price and we were able to settle on the house that day with no problems.

The receptionist was courteous and knowledgeble. Floyd arrived promptly. He was professional and thorough with the initial deep cleaning and adjusting of my old gas fireplace insert. When I needed a revisit to further adjust the flames, he was as professional as the first time. I heartily recommend his company and services. I am grateful to have the fireplace up and running!

I was impressed with this company from start to finish. They made an effort to resolve our problem over the phone to spare us a service call. When the problem persisted, Floyd came out. He showed up at the appointed time . . . was familiar with this older model, which is no longer produced . . . recognized the problem right away . . . fixed it to our satisfaction . . . explained a few other things to help us going fwd . . . was respectful of our home in the process (removing his shoes, covering the nearby carpet with protective cloths) . . . and was pleasant to work with throughout. They serviced my fireplace and did a great job -- painted the back, added kindling materials and installed a remote control. After working fine for a few weeks, the fireplace was turning off sporadically and I called them to return and look at it. They came by the same day I called and didn't charge me for a service call and fixed the problem. Great work!

Gas Fireplaces Plus was referred to me by my neighbor, so I contacted the company and they set us up with a specific appointment window a month into the future. While we were disappointed to wait that long, I agreed and put it in my calendar. The date and time came and went so I called the company and they said there was no such appointment. They had record of my calls but no record of any appointment -- I did not manufacture the specific date and time window in my calendar. My gas fireplace was acting up--the pilot light would come on but the flame wouldn't stay on when I turned the valve for full flame. Floyd instantly understood the problem and fixed it quickly. Additionally, he cleaned up the fire box, painted it, and cleaned up after his work. Not a speck of dirt left. Recommend him without question. And, btw, fee was reasonable.
