I had a blocked drain that was backing up into my kitchen sink and dishwasher. After doing everything that I could do on my own I called in Protocol Plumbing & Sewer.
We scheduled a time for a technician to come out on a Friday. Ten minutes after making the appointment, I received a call that a technician had finished early and could be at my place within 30 minutes, if that worked for me.
Joel showed up promptly and began to assess what was going on. After a few minutes he went right to work. I was quoted a fair price for the first hour and

Replaced a valve that I was aware needed to be replaced, and repaired a hole in a pipe I didn't know was leaking after proving it. In under an hour, and for less $$$ than I was expecting.

Protocol did a great job fixing my main waterline leak under my driveway. Had the right know-how, tools and parts. Kyle and his assistant worked continuously until the repair was made. I appreciated that they willing to do the messy uncomfortable work in the hole and on their stomachs and did so cheerfully. Fair prices. Would definitely call Protocol again.

I cannot say what an outstanding operation this is. I have had multiple interactions with them and they always have exceeded my expectations. From a bathroom remodeling project to a plumbing emergency, Mike has been a great communicator and has done excellent work. Fair, honest, and dependable.

The service was ok, but was given an estimate for fixing (Two) copper pipes (which is intuitively should be replaced with same material which is copper).
I found the replacement was only (One) pipe which they used PEX (cheaper than copper and requires less labor work).
When I asked for itemizing the cost so I can understand the point from what I'm paying for (1 pipe replaced in less than 2 hours costed 700$ + taxes), Mike (the manager) refused and was shouting to me in the phone telling me that's "ridiculous" and I know nothing of plumping!!!

They were able to deal with a few plumbing leaks on short notice. They did a great job of communicating and completed the repair at the low end of the estimate range.

Protocol responded to a broken input valve to house water supply within an hour. Identifed street shutoff valve from other homes, fixed problem replacing old valve. Very fair pricing and excellent work.

Haven’t actually had work done yet, but I wanted to praise this company for their integrity. I called to have them come out to snake the plumbing vent on the roof because our main bathroom toilet kept clogging. After I explained the issue, Erich suggested we try replacing the toilet first, since it was over 15 years old. He didn’t even try to sell his services for the replacement. Today we installed a new toilet and it flushes perfectly. We will definitely be calling Protocol Plumbing the next time we need work done.

Great people! More precisely, Joel from Protocol is fantastic. We had a broken pipe that crumbled under our sink and our main floor flooded this morning. We had used Protocol twice before and they were out within a couple of hours both times. Today was no different. Always fast and punctual service. Reasonable. And just plain ole nice people. A++
