I called Russo plumbing because my hot water heater was leaking steamy water all over the basement. The heater was still covered under warranty but I was told they couldn't get anyone out there for several days. They told me to try Craig's List and subsequently hung up on me. Terrible, terrible, customer service!

I have used Russo 3 times in the 2 years I've had this house. Once was to fix the problems that another plumber made worse. More recently, they replaced our boiler in less than a week (just before Thanksgiving) when the Oil company (that we have a service contract with) said it would take 6 weeks. They were also Thousands of dollars below what the oil company quoted!
These guys rock!

Russo was referred to me by our property managers. Russo plumber (John) arrived on time and was extremely efficient, adeptly fixing our main problem (severe pipe banging noise when toilet tank was filling) and to boot addressed 2nd running toilet upstairs--all within the single hour labor fee timeframe. Installed new parts in both, which he had on his truck. He explained causes for each problem to me very clearly and on one even offered me the option a more cost efficient fix, but was clear with me that it might not be 100% permanent (I opted for a slightly more costly solution that was permanent

We needed 4 items addressed:
#1: Shower control fixture needed to be fixed
#2: Faucets for basin in bathroom needed to be tightened to get rid of drip leak into basin
#3: Water filter in kitchen basin needed to be replaced
#4: Leak from water faucet in another bathroom needed to be looked at
The resolution took 3 expensive visits over 2+ months
Total cost of the work was over $1250. There was no follow-up after the first & second visits as had been promised. The part I was told to buy (cost me $75) was deemed incorrect later on. The shower was unusable for almost a month until the controls
