Complete Chimney Cleaning is a family-owned and operated company and we have been "sweeping the metro area" with quality service and integrity since 1983. Complete Chimney Cleaning is a full service chimney company. For over 35 years, we have provided a full range of services, from chimney sweeping and fireplace maintenance to inspections and fireplace repair throughout the Denver Metropolitan area.
Our services include: Inspections of all chimney and venting systems for combustion appliances; Vacuuming and hand-brushing of the firebox; Cleaning and checking the damper for proper operation; Removing all debris and soot from the smoke shelf (which is above and behind the damper); Hand-brushing of the smoke chamber and chimney flue; Checking and cleaning of the chimney cap (if applicable); Instructions for the safe use of your fireplace or woodstove, upon request.
Provide us some general details on how we can be of service to you and someone will contact you. Each cleaning comes with a certified inspection that meets NFAP standars. Our prices are very reasonable by industry standards. We are insured and as long-time members of the Better Business Bureau, we have never had a complaint.
During the busy season of September through December, we can usually clean your chimney within a week. We schedule a date that works for you, then we call either the night before or first thing in the morning on your scheduled date to give a time when we will arrive. Because we value your time, we are always willing to work within a specific time frame that you choose.
We charge a flat rate of $90.00 to inspect your fireplace and chimney anywhere in the Denver area and suburbs. Trip charges apply to any city outside of the Denver/Metro area. For example: a $20 charge does apply to homes in Boulder. If your chimney needs to be cleaned, our prices start at $159 for a regular fireplace, which includes the inspection.

I just had a visit from Rick. He came out to repair a broken damper. I purchased the parts in advance when another company told me I needed them or that I needed to spend $1100 on a top of chimney damper. Not only did Rick fix the existing damper using the existing parts but he told me that my flue did not need cleaning. Honest, honest, honest. Did I say honest? Highly recommend them!

We had Complete Chimney cleaning come out to clean an insert we've had for years. They found it had not been installed correctly which is why it was not as effective as it's supposed to be. Casey and Spencer came back a second time to fix the unit for less time and money than promised! They also taught us some tricks and tips to help it burn better. They were professional, clean, on time, efficient and are officially our "go-to" experts from now on!! Super happy we found them!

We have a 100+ year old fireplace and were told by the home inspectors that before using it we would need to talk to someone with some more specific knowledge. The entire experience of working with CCC verified how important that advice was. They had a very obvious expertise in the area. Had a great experience with Complete Chimney Cleaning for our woodburning fireplace in Golden. Price was lower than competitors. They scheduled us for the day before Thanksgiving with 2 days notice. The technicians showed up on time and gave me an honest assessment that my chimney did not necessarily need to be cleaned just yet - though I went ahead and had it done anyway. I could't be more thrilled. I had a CO alarm go off last night due most likely to my furnace and in order for the heater to be serviced they requested the chimney be looked at. I needed this done right away as it snowed last night and we are without heat. Spencer came out right away for me, if he hadn't I don't think I would have heat now. I have used these guys for over 6 years now and they are just excellent. Josh is always pleasant to visit with and he always remembers my dogs' names. The work that he is does is second to none. Excellent company! Josh and his team are top notch! Josh called the night before to confirm our appointment and they arrived right at the time Josh said he would. He looked at my chimney first and told me honestly that it really wasn't that dirty and that I could wait if I wanted to or he said he could go ahead and clean it if I wanted. I opted to go ahead and have him clean it since he was already here. I'm telling you folks, that kind of honesty and integrity is really hard to come by these days and it is a rare courtesy for sure!

They were able to get the inspection/cleaning scheduled within 7 days. I called two other companies and they were slammed into mid January. I was a bit nervous, but they let me know the night before it would be morning, rather than afternoon. Since it's a rental property on acreage out north, I needed a heads-up so I didn't sit all morning waiting. Gentleman called 30 min in advance, showed up on time, did a great job being tidy. Could not beat the price. $140 for inspection, cleaning and cap replacement.
