I asked Give Star to get me a quote without the sales pitch. I knew what size i wanted and had previous quotes. They came in with a price considerably lower than i was willing to spend.
The install was done in 2 days with minimal interruption to my electrical service. The install was done neatly with quality materials.

Great experience with fivestar solar,, they were effecient, and professional, and we have had the panels for 1.5 years, with a good electric bill. I am paying about the same for a 4500sf house, and 3 acres of property including pump for well and pump for pool, as I was for a 2200sf home, intown. Five star is a Five star in my book !

5 years ago this company installed 20 panels on my roof. I had to replace my roof, something I was not aware needed to be done, if Dustin or his crew had told me this, I would have replaced the roof first.
Now I am forced to remove all 20 panels. This was something I asked Dustin to come and do, I offered to pay his fees of course. Then he ghosted me...did not take my calls or reply to my texts. So I hired another company at a much higher cost...which is not a problem. But the new company showed me that the mounting brackets that hold the rails down were put in upside down. Wow...what a bunch

They made it very simple for us and their price was super competitive, with highest-quality components, right from their initial proposal.

Great Service! Ron Johnson, the technical sales person, was very knowledgeable and provided all the information I needed without pushing for sale like other companies and contractors. I installed 23 Panasonic panels with Enphase Microinverters. On the day of the install, the installation team were very professional and did an amazing job. No conduit or loose wire on the roof! Very clean job. The best part is that the monitoring app allows me to monitor each individual panel's energy production, something that big names like SunPower do not provide. Will definitely recommend Five Star Solar

Just beginning my 4th year since Five Star installed my solar system. My electric meter is still about 1,400 kWh less than the day it was turned-on. My meter read 47,178 the day it was turned on and now reads 45,748. The system should pay for it self this year so beginning next year - FREE ELECTRICITY!

I researched several solar companies before getting my system installed. Five Star Solar is the company I chose for several reasons. From my first contact with Ron in sales to working with the installers, I felt sure that I made the right decision. Ron answered all my questions without feeding me a line of BS. I had quotes from three different companies and Five Star had the best system at the best price. No added costs to get the job done on time. Out of 9 solar installation quotes, Ron from Five Star Solar gave me the best price, included extra features, and was incredibly polite. He even arranged for a fantastic price on replacing my air conditioning units that beat out five other quotes. Six months later, I'm still happy I went with Five Star Solar. Installing solar on our house was a major decision. Price and payback was of course a main driver, but service and support was as well considering this is a long term investment. Dustin and 5 star score best marks on both. Pricing was the best around without the fear of cutting corners, equipment was top notch. Also, when we had a monitoring issue with an upgrade that the inverter company installed on our units, Dustin was relentless until it was resolved. I'm the Resident Manager at a large 50 unit building in San Francisco and Dustin/ Five Star Solar handles our heating system. I've experienced quite a few times when we didn't have heat/hot water and I emailed/texted Dustin, he responded right away to let me know that he would send someone over ASAP. We had an issue in our 50 unit building where 19 of our units complained that they were not getting heat.
Dustin Carey fixed our heating issue in our building all the way out in San Francisco... the very next day! He even wrote an extremely detailed report of his findings in the unit. 5 Stars for Five Star Solar!
