Buyer Beware. We interviewed multiple pool companies before we started our pool project. We felt very comfortable with Trent and thought he was the best company for the job. Little did we know that a year later, we still don't have our project done. We have gotten excuse after excuse. There is no communication whatsoever.
Just know if you choose them to build your pool, you are looking at a year plus for completion. We started our pool project December 14 of 2021. All was good in the beginning when Trent was trying to get our business but as soon as the project was started, we have been unable to reach him. He's either hunting, on vacation or out of state trying to start a new business venture. Our pool originally was said to be completed in April 2021, then were promised by June for our daughter's baby shower. June came and went. We finally got water in the pool middle of August, but that was after call after call asking them when they were coming back to work. It is now December and our project which included an outdoor kitchen and pavilion is still not finished. I understand weather delays, but we have had weeks of perfect weather and no one has come to work. Our backyard is a muddy mess. We have mud running into the pool when it rains. Excuse after excuse as to why they aren't working at our home.
Make sure once Trent quotes you a price you have him send you it in writing. There is no communication between him and the office about pricing. We were told the total cost of our outdoor kitchen, pavilion and fireplace would be a certain amount. This was budgeted, but then 2 weeks ago after half the kitchen was started, workers picked up and left and we got an invoice for an ADDITIONAL $19,000. We were never told of the extra costs, now half the kitchen was started and basically highjacked that if we didn't pay the additional 19K, they wouldn't come back to finish. We told them of our conversation with Trent, asked him to call us and still not a call from Trent. We have texted Trent, called Trent multiple times and still not call from Trent to explain the situation. I don't know how many people have an extra 19K laying around. Instead, he has his project manager, call us, who wasn't there the day we were told what the total cost of our outdoor pavilion and kitchen would cost. They finally said they would reduce the amount to 18K. Wow, what a discount!! Honestly think they should have done something better than that especially since we were never told of any additional costs.
We have even gone up to the business to try to talk to them about the situation. If you call the office to talk about the invoice, you are told the office Manager is with a customer and can't talk. Never a call back. This has been a very frustrating experience for us. We just want our backyard done. As a realtor, i will definitely not be referring anyone to this company when I have clients looking to put in a pool.

It is nice to see that others have had a great experience with Sandals however, our experience has been horrible, and we feel very cheated. Trent and his workers started this project but then as time went by, it became very clear that our project was being put on the back burner due to other projects. We contacted Sandals pools way before Covid was an issue and signed a contract in March 2020 to be completed in 3 months. It has been a full year and the job has never been completed. Sandals luxury pools built my amazing custom pool and I can not say enough about it or the Sandals team.
Custom built, custom designed by Trent and truly hand crafted with a raised beam, two water features, bubblers, amazing tanning ledge custom coping and decking and a Spa with a water feature spillover, it truly is a resort in my own backyard
My daughters have spent hours and hours enjoying our awesome pool and all their friends always want to come over to our house, which is exactly why my wife and I built our pool.

I contacted Trent with Sandals Pools in May of 2018 after contacting several different pool companies. Not only was his price better than anyone’s, but he also guaranteed me I would be swimming by July 4th. That was enough for me. Him and his guys went above and beyond and we were swimming July 4th. He built a beautiful pool. I was on google tonight and was going to send a friend of mine a link to his website. I saw this review below mine and could not believe it. That is not how Sandals Pools does things or how Trent is. Trent has always taken care of my wife and I. If we wanted things different

Would Hire Again in a Heartbeat! Recommend to Friends!
We met with 4-5 pool builders prior to hiring Trent with Sandals. We had a new construction home with a difficult backyard. We had a large slope in the rear of the house with drainage issues, and the house was not truly a "walkout:", it dropped about 2 feet off a rear deck to the yard. Most of the pool builders would not listen, they wanted to build what they wanted to build, or said it couldn't be done, or were priced through the roof. That is what we were looking to do when we contracted with Trent at Sandals Luxury Pools. Trent did a great job LISTENING to what we wanted for our family and did not try to sell us something that we did not want or need.
He custom designed a pool for the outdoor living experience we were looking for.
The installation went smoothly and he completed it in a timely fashion . In addition,Trent wasn't one of those guys who sells & leaves it to someone else
