We wanted our kitchen backsplash done by a pro this time, so based on all the positive reviews and that Brian Decker's location was near NE Seattle, I reached out. He was very responsive to email and text. To our luck, he managed to squeeze us in before Christmas, at a week's notice as another job had shifted its timing.
The tiling was done by his employee, Jesus and another assistant. Jesus and his assistant were VERY courteous, respectful of our time and our home (Jesus laid down plastic from the front door to the kitchen, as well as plastic over our granite counters). They arrived

I wanted to hire Brian because I'd heard such good things. Unfortunately, he couldn't get to my job while the weather promised to be good and I ended-up having to hire someone else. In the mean time, I had screwed-up Brian's schedule. Of course this created a big headache for him, more work and perhaps loss of money. While he was understandably frustrated, he was a gentleman and pardoned my offense. I will definitely hire him in the future.

I recently had Decker Design install my kitchen backsplash. Although the job was small, it was a little tricky because of how the window over the sink was placed in relation to the upper cabinets. Brian, the owner, was great to work with. He spent quite a bit of time going over the little details with me in advance so we had a clear plan before starting work. Sonny did the installation and he was great - prompt, friendly, and clearly very skilled and experienced. I will definitely use this company for any future projects.

Brian and his team came out for a simple bathroom refresh. I had an old dingy bathroom that was carpeted. After a small leak I ripped the carpet out. They came in measured out the room created a design for the project and laid it all out prior to making their first cut. Like a surgeon they mapped everything out. The project looked great! There are no sliver cuts. I have had a lot of construction projects in the last 24 months and the most surprising thing was they were on budget! I would not hesitate to refer them!

I am very pleased with the results of Brian Decker Design. I had my kitchen backsplash re-tiled and it turned out fantastic. I found the process of getting a quote, communication and scheduling to be very smooth and worry free.

Sonny recently installed a dimensional tile wall in our kitchen and entry which had some unique challenges. I am very happy that I chose Brian and his crew because the end result was outstanding and the wall is now a show piece. I appreciated most Sonny's attention to detail and the high quality standard he holds himself too. Sonny took no short cuts, answered my questions and walked me through scenarios when needed. Sonny was punctual, trustworthy, and ethical - the things you want when quality and precision are important. Brian should be your only call for tile work when it matters most

These guys are fantastic. Every worker I met was nice, focused on the job at hand, and willing to work around some less-than-ideal conditions to get the work done. We had multiple other trades and deliveries (big stuff) happening at the time, but Brian and his crew did the work quickly and at a high level of quality.

I hired Decker Design for a 2nd time - this time to do my kitchen backsplash. The installer Ben did another awesome job. I am a total perfectionist so any flaw drives me crazy. There is none. The backsplash looks fantastic! I will be giving Brian another call when I'm ready to tackle my bathroom remodel.

Brian from Decker designs and his team are extremely professional and did a fantastic job on our kitchen backsplash. It was done in a tuscan-style they were very patient with our design decision and we're even accommodating when we changed the design in the middle of construction. I would highly recommend Brian Decker and his team for any tile work. Glad we have found someone trustworthy and professional that we can go to for our remodeling needs.

We hired Brian from Decker Designs to come and give us a consultation on an exterior deck for a house that we just purchased. We wanted him to talk to us about what it takes to maintain an exterior tile deck. Tile decks can be very problematic as, if they leak you generally don't know until it's way too late and you have significant damage to repair. Brian was able to assess the deck give us confidence that it is well-built and in good shape and also helped us by sealing the tiles. A wonderful experience highly recommendable. If you need tile work done and I highly recommend you at least

Brian Decker is a highly detailed professional. When I asked him about how he ensures proper installation of tile, I got an absolutely professional answer. He reads and follows the manufacturers instructions. This may seem obvious at first, but it has saved he and some of his clients thousands of dollars in potential installation errors. Brian Decker does absolutely amazing tile work. His attention to detail is a huge asset--because let's face it, if tile looks bad, it's very obvious and can irk the perfectionist deep inside of us.
Not only is his tile amazing, Brian is super easy to work with. His positive and friendly attitude makes him an easy guy to be around--a plus when he's in your home getting the work done.
I wouldn't recommend anyone else to my family and friends.

Tile must be installed with great precision, and Decker's technicians are masters at this. For one thing, they lay the tile out before they start installing - this reduces the amount of cutting, and it ensures a proper install. If you've ever seen a shower where the subway tiles have had to be cut into 1/4 lengths as they converge to a corner, you know what I'm talking about.
The thing about tile is that if you don't have that precision install, then you've got ugly tile. With Decker Design, you'll have beautiful tile. It's that simple.
