Our specialized chimney sweeping equipment consists of a RoVac vacuum system, with HEPA filtration, to ensure that our work is done in a clean and professional manner.

Had a wonderful experience with our first time using Matchbox. Barb was able to squeeze us in in a short period of time. And the services were quite helpful. Suggestions were offered, but we never felt pressured, they seemed genuinely knowledgeable, and I felt that there was value for the price. We will definitely be using them regularly from this point forward!

The young lady who returned my second call for chimney cleaning service was very rude and insolent. Talks over the top of you, very curt and obviously not interested in listening to you or earning your business. Whoever you are, I don't care what you call it, again no, we do NOT have an insert; it is a freestanding stove in what was once a fireplace. But that is not the point here. You couldn't be bothered to let me finish anything without cutting me off and talking loudly over the top of me and, for the record, we will never contact your business again and will not recommend you to anyone we know

The customer service was great. They were a little bit booked out when I called, but Barb let me know that right away. She also called with a reminder closer to the appointment. Garen came out, arrived on time, and gave me great information on my chimney and was professional. The price was also very reasonable, and what I expected.

I just wanted to share with everyone what a very pleasant experience I had of working directly with Barb. She was very patient with me - answering all of my questions regarding my chimney. Barb also provided some helpful tips when it comes to maintenance of my chimney. Barb also went above and beyond to look into a very specific issue that I had with my fireplace she did the follow up and called me with accurate non-bias information. I am a first time home owner, and the seller of our house agreed to have our chimney swept prior to moving in (shocking: they didn't do it, so we were left to add that to our move-in to-do list! Haha). Anyways, I found Matchbox on Yelp and overall I thought they were friendly, had good communication, arrived on time, and very knowledgeable. They even gave me good tips on how to maintain and use our fireplace. I would use them again!

These people were so great to deal with. The wife i spoke to was so warm and friendly! It was worth the wait. Her husband came out and did the inspection and cleaning. He was very knowledgeable and guided us in the right direction, was patient and took the time to educate us. So glad we went with them instead of the other companies!

They think much more of themselves than they do of you
It says right on this Yelp page that they have an 8 hour response time and 100% compliance THATS not true. It took them a WEEK and a HALF to return my call and then they started off by telling me how long I would have to wait and what they would and wouldn't do- they are too busy to care - Don't use them if you don't have to

Had our duplex inspected today. Garren was very knowledgable about it's condition and even the construction. Ours was built before 1970s so its without the extra chimney tile liner. He gave us ideas and several options if we use it, and most importantly how to enjoy our specific type of fireplaces.
Overall 5 star review to keep us safe in our house. Knowledgeable and super nice and the bonus is he has special chimney credentials so we KNOW he is a legit pro! Highly recommend this business to anyone needing any chimney cleanings or inspections! Thanks Matchbox!

I have had excellent experience with this company. Garen is very professional and personable. He came out in December and cleaned out the chimney on my wood stove. He was on time and didn't leave a mess. I'm new to the wood stove thing so he explained the best way to burn and gave me a great recommendation on where to buy seasoned dry wood. I highly recommend Matchbox Chimney Sweep!

Super nice and super professional. They made an appointment via Yelp message and were extremely punctual. Garreth was just wonderful. He checked our fireplace and found it clean, the checked/cleaned our woodturning stove and showed us how to use it in addition to things that would be helpful in the future. He made suggestions, and was knowledgeable on code. Will definitely call again!

Very dependable, reputable, and highly knowledgable and qualified. I have not had better service from any other contractor ever. They were also very courteous, and besides providing excellent service, were very mindful about making sure they thoroughly cleaned up after themselves. Definitely would recommend to anybody requiring chimney/fireplace service.
