Sonoran Retractables experience was a good experience. There communication was excellent and they set a time and day for installation and they showed up on time and finished in a timely fashion and also took time to show you how things work. I would recommend them to anyone looking for Shades, Awnings or Sun Screens.

While it pains me to write this I feel I must to hopefully prevent someone, anyone, from going through what I've been through! Sunshine Experts has always been friendly and responsive to the couple of issues I've had with their rolling screens and the solar attic fan. Well, that is, until the chips are down. Sunesta cannot repair, nor will replace a screen that has been faulty since install about 1.5yrs ago. I've contacted Sunshine Experts several times to see if they will stand behind the very expensive product they sold me. The best they will do is keep putting me back in touch

Almost one year to the day I am just now getting to the end of a fiasco of a project order from them. Was rescued by another company. What ever you do dont do business with this company unless you are desperate. Terrible terrible company.

1/17/2020 - We now have torn fabric on one of our screens. Sunshine Experts has broken their contract with Sunesta and are not honoring the warranties claiming that even though we signed the contract with them it is Sunesta's problem. I was told that as a customer I have to call Sunesta and log a claim. Honestly, in my opinion, this is a completely disreputable company.
Oh and after I made the first post Sunshine Experts called me and offered me a free SolaTube if I removed or edited my comment...

I have been in Customer Service for over 30years and this company unfortunately doesn't have any. They took our money, and screen is still not installed. ** 5 months later ** They have 1001 excuses as to why it's not here but no delivery. They've blamed it on hurricanes, bad former employees, waiting for "my dog ate the paperwork ". All talk NO action. They make promises they don't keep and at this point we don't trust anything they say. Now we may have to get an attorney to get our money back. Buyer beware. I wouldn't buy anything at

Jesus arrived at our house promptly at the appointed time for our sola tube installation. We weren't sure where we wanted to have it placed but based on his recommendation, we agreed on a spot we hadn't considered. It turned out to be perfect. He was cheerful, professional, and very efficient. The job was completed in a little over an hour and so far we're very pleased. After we live with it for a while we'll consider more Solatubes for our dark spots.

Jesus is a master technician of solar tubes! This is the third house we have used sunshine experts for and we could not be happier. We are also doing a patio pergola project with Julian, who has a keen eye for design.

What an impossible company to do business with.
I told them initially I was ready to purchase and needed to sign a contract immediately because I needed the work to be completed by thanksgiving for when my wife was moving in. They gave me a rough estimate of $8,000-$9,000. If they couldn't come out in the next day or 2 to do a design and firm quote, I was going to have to go elsewhere. They said they would come out on Tuesday and provide the quote on the spot. Tuesday came and no one showed up. I called them and they said I wasn't on their list of appointments but they would fit me in

Fortunately for me I was born into a family of lawyers.This company will pay me a full refund and punitive damages. This is by far the worst company I have ever hired to do a job. After 3 visits over a 10 day period the work is still not completed as shown in my pics after each day of work today being the 3rd day. The work done was of such poor quality it will need to be redone.

Michael did the install and arrived before our appointed time with a bright mood and cheerful attitude. He described the process after checking logistics and did a fantastic job! We had Solar Tubes installed in our kitchen, hall & bathroom with Solar Night Lights. All 3 areas are bright in the day time as well as all night without using any electricity. We're extremely pleased with our entire experience from meeting the staff at the home show to the tech that installed to the follow up, everyone has been friendly, professional, timely, caring & courteous. I had Eddie come out and measure all our windows that we needed screens for. We met this company at the Home Show and liked them. After they took all the measurements Eddie told us he would email us the prices the next day. We waited a week and when we still didn't have an email with prices I called Sunshine. I was promised an email that day which I never got. I then made 5 more calls to Sunshine for prices each time being told I would have an email that day which I never got. I wasn't going to use this company after the 3rd try of getting prices but was just seeing how long I would be

We move to Scottsdale two years ago and finally decided to do some much need home improvements to our new house. We had four Solatube skylights in our previous house when we lived in the Bay Area so solar tubes for a great choice for the new casa.
Sunshine Experts were professional and friendly in allowing us to ask many questions and provide the best prices. They gave us the need forms for the 55% tax credits. Cody was on time and cleaned up all the little pieces that were created during the installation. He completed two tube in less then four hours.

Had a motorized shade screen installed. At first so impressed with the look and quality. One monsoon storm and this "able to withstand Florida hurricane winds" unit was ripped from our home. The metal frame and motor that were attached to our home came away from the screws and now sits in our side yard. No one will take accountability for the crappy install. I do not recommend the motorize shade from this company as they do not stand behind their product. The owner will not give his personal number or email. He has never spoken to us. We only get reps and they could care less. We paid

I have had Solar Tubes installed in other homes before so it was not much of a hard sell needed. Yet, to my surprise the installer Leon, arrived on time was extremely knowledgeable and before I could even ask about the price we were on the roof ripping the tiles off. I am extremely happy with the installation and the price and have already recommended to my family that they use this company for their Solar Tube needs. Michael was very knowledgeable and provided us some great details about some of the options and locations for Solatube skylights. He installed one in the hallway and two in our kitchen where he removed the ceiling can lights and now we have a great functioning lighting system. The sun light from above is so much nicer the way light lights up the wood cabinets and our granite countertops.
Sunshine Experts provided the paperwork for the tax credits so we had one more installed this last week and look forward to the large tax refund in February.

I knew ahead of time I would be happy with the Solar Tube in my dark hallway as I had several in a previous residence. I was a little put off initially by the cost but my go-to guy said he couldn't do it for much less. I wish I had done it 3 years ago when we moved in. It gives fantastic light (no more little night lights plugged into the wall) and Jesus, the young man who did the install, gets 5 stars also. Very knowledgeable, personable, showed up on time and cleaned up when he was done. All in all a great experience all the way around.

I hired this company to install two sola tubes- one in kitchen and one in laundry room. The rooms are soooo much brighter. The sub contractor who did the work was really great. Prepped the area, cleaned up after himself, did quality work from what I can see. Took his time to help me determine best placement position for maximum light. Only reason for 4 stars is that after I watched how it was done and could really see the product, the pricing seems a bit high. The product is uncomplicated and not particularly robust looking and the install process the same..so it came out to about $300 per hour
