The company was very proactive in return Ing my call to set up an initial assessment on my two heating systems. Jeremiah was our technician and he was amazing! He was very thorough and answered all my questions and concerns. He was extremely professionally, knowledgeable and friendly. He took extensive photos for our file and explained the ones I had questions about.
I would recommend this company and definitely will ask for Jeremiah to be assigned when we review our AC system in Spring!!!

Sean was here to do a checkup on our 2019 HVAC unit. He started out by cleaning our filters and reinstalled them. Sean was polite and knowledgeable concerning our unit. I made an appointment for a technician to come out and help fix my air conditioning unit. His name was Geoffrey. He came in and opened up the unit. He told me that I would need a new capacitor and the Freon would need to be added. He shot a price at me which seemed a little high. He then said he would just change the capacitor which he did. At this point everything was moving along well. What really set him off was that he could not screw off the cap that would allow him to add the Freon. We had a leak from our A/C. When we called Hometown, the first appointment time was from noon to 2. When they had not shown up or called, I called them to be told that they might be there around 3. I had other things to do that day, and could not wait any longer, so I just cancelled the appointment (this was on a Friday). After another weekend without A/C (we were afraid to use it until it got fixed), we were rescheduled for the following Thursday

SCAMMER ALERT We called them to use their coupon for a tune up, someone came and looked at the heater and said there was a little water leakage. Mind you, our heater was working perfectly fine before he came. The day after he left, I tried turning the heater up and it wouldn't work at all. We called them back, and the same man came to look at it while we watched (heater was bone dry btw) he said that our 8 year old heater was completely put together wrong, and that he could try to fix it but he can't make any promises so it might be a waste of money. I was very disappointed in Hometown Heating & Air Conditioning today. We have a service contract and I'd called two weeks ago to schedule our service on our heater. The appointment was to be November 13. Their office called today, the 12th, to say they had an emergency and needed to reschedule our service in two more weeks.

Their ad says they respond in thirty minutes. That is pure hot air. They had us scheduled two weeks out and called the day before to move it up another two weeks. The person on the phone was very unpleasant.
We had a service contact with them and it looks like they oversell these contracts and can not service them in a timely manner.
The saddest part of this was how unpleasant the person was who called to cancel us. Service?? With a bad attitude.

A/C went out ,being a Star member decided to go with Hometown. Probably should have gotten more estimates. Very pricey. Prior to installation,I asked if they checked the ducts. I wondered why you would put in a top of the line HVAC system without checking the ducts. The techs showed up on time worked very diligently. They had a couple of glitches, but overcame them quickly. My wife and I were concerned that the men did not wear masks while in the house. We kept our distance. Please beware this company is out to scam people. I had them come out to fix my A/C that was making a loud noise which I thought was due to a slight tipping of the unit. They had two different people come out and both proclaimed without ever examining the unit that they had never heard anything like that and I would need a new A/C.
The second guy told me I needed a new A/C before I ever even turned it on! I paid for an inspection which they did not even provide. They were out to sell new A/C units.

I had a furnace tune-up today with Hometown Heating & Conditioning. I had superior customer service from my technician, Dominic Estrada. He was professional, helpful, and took the time to explain some problems and possible issues with me, which I really appreciated. Also, he was kind about the fact that while allergic, he was understanding about my cats (I should have mentioned that when I made the appointment. My fault.). Would highly recommend this place for heating, air conditioning and water heater service and replacement. We have a service contract with them and they do a great job! Their Service Technicians are always friendly and helpful. Always have a smile on their face and ask lots of questions to make sure our systems are working properly.
Today we had Galen Squyres as our technician and he was great! He loved our dogs and answered our questions and gave us tips on how to maximize our AC now and checked our heater for the coming months ahead.

Have used Hometown for my maintenance on our fairly new system. The technicians are always friendly and knowledgeable. The owner Brian came out with the tech this last time as they knew we wanted to add a zone to give the in law more individualized control. Since it is a slower time of year gave a fair price and was able to start right away.
The team came out the next day and installed a new zone. We have lots of animals and I told them not to worry about cleaning up, even so they left no mess behind and I could tell the installation was done by professionals.
