From the time I called to when James arrived, all was professional. I had total water blockage in my house. The receptionist was very sensitive to my situation and called the owner to see what they could do. They were able to respond within hours. James was on time and fixed the problem. Fantastic service! I found them by a Google search and after reading many great reviews I decided to give a call.
James was very professional and polite. He checked our sewer line, then went straight to fixing our clogged sink.

Great service from the office staff to the plumber. James worked diligently, in a small area, to find the area where the pipe was clogged. He found the clog and added a clamp for easy accessibility. He's a very pleasant young man. He was thorough and very informative. I will be using By The Book Plumbing LLC for my plumbing needs. Thank you James!!

I have used by the book a few times now and James has ALWAYS been so nice and professional. He has fixed our issues quickly and always for a reasonable price. He is the first person I think of when something goes wrong. He explains exactly what's happening and what needs to be done in a very easy to understand way. He takes pictures to show you when the issue is somewhere you cannot see for yourself. He is awesome! Very pleased with this company. 20 stars!

I called By The Book Plumbing based on recommendations from neighbors. I had called other plumbers only to be told appointments were weeks out. James (owner) was able to make an appointment within 2 days! The guys were professional and I'm happy with the work. I highly recommend James as your plumber. He was great at communicating, came on-time, and was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He inspected our problem at no cost and did some troubleshooting. Unfortunately due to the space constraints and live wires we found, James recommended an electrician and a different plumber to do the work due to special tooling required. I have a home warranty plan and I filed a claim on my tank water heater. Home warranty will only replace the tank with another tank. I did not like the company that Home warranty contracted.
