I hired Tu Bloom Designs Landscaping over 8 years ago to design my front rooftop deck and backyard. I told Tu that I wanted my yard to have 4 season interest. I also mentioned that I wanted low maintenance plantings. I was blown away with the finished project. I have trees that bloom and produce berries at different times in spring. Roses blooming in summer. Tall grasses that bloom and turn red in fall. He installed beautiful ground cover and hardscape. My neighbors were inspired to upgrade their own yards. One neighbor mentioned that the landscape design made my house look like a different house

IT LOOKS WONDERFUL, AND THEY ALSO SODDED OUR FRONT YARD, WHICH FINISHED THE LOOK. I WOULD HIRE THEM AGAIN FOR ANY LANDSCAPING JOB I NEEDED

Tu and his team were kind enough to squeeze us into their schedule in time for a rooftop dinner party we were hosting. In just a few hours their work helped make our space so much more inviting and colorful. Tu was mindful of elements like the wind on the rooftop that I would not have thought of. I also appreciated the tutorial he gave to help me know what to do to care for the planters. He and his team are so knowledgeable, efficient and a pleasure to work with!

Since moving to downtown Chicago, Tu has designed the most amazing planters for my balcony. Each season he creates unique arrangements that look simply beautiful! Tu and his team are simply amazing. I went into the phone interview knowing absolutely nothing about landscaping or what I wanted to do with my home. We simply talked about what I liked and disliked and went on from there. Tu and his team came to my home with ideas and gave me inspiration for what I wanted my house to look like. A couple of weeks later, and now my house looks better than what I ever could have expected. My house is like a dream come true. They did an excellent job of scoping out our backyard project which included a fountain and fire pit, barbecue with sink and refrigerator, pavers, sitting benches, lighting, synthetic grass and flower beds.
The back yard went from a place we really didn't want to use to being our main focal point. Friends and neighbors have complimented us.
The process is that the owner does the initial write up and specs on everything and then gets 3 contractors to bid on it. You select from the three contractors and then from there you are dealing with the contractor. The owner only really gets involved afterward
