Ray F. Schureman founded Backyards of America in 1989, and has worked in the spa industry for more than 25 years. Ray started his business, Aqua Vibrations, in Orem, Utah in the late 1970s. He later moved to Salt Lake City and founded Backyards of America. Since then, Backyards has been a premier dealer of Sundance Spas for over 29 of those years.

We've considered getting a hot tub for years thinking it was too complicated. Backyards made it super easy for us. We went in and they recommended the perfect size hot tub for our family of five. Before we left the store they had already arranged and scheduled a delivery. I called Ray a couple days later in a panic that my cement pad wasn't going to be ready in time. He had a great solution for us to put down a resin hot tub pad instead and we had the ground ready and the pad down in about 2 hours. The delivery guys came right on time, had the thing setup in no-time and ready to go. Ray called

We first heard about Backyards of America fall of 2020 as we shopped around for a new hot tub. All I can say is what a great company to work with. Ray has been very kind and easy to work with. The delivery crew was great, polite and helpful in getting things setup and Backyards of America continue to be very pleasant to with with a we continue to have questions moving forward

We bought our first Spa from Ray about 18 years ago and have bought our supplies from Backyards of America ever since. They are always very helpful with new products and ways to keep the chemicals maintained in the easiest possible way. We just upgraded with a new version of the Optima and also purchased the Covana Cover. This was the best purchase ever! not sure why we waited so long!

Love these folks. Hot tubs are expensive so you need a good place to purchase, from people you can trust. Not just for the initial purchase, but service and supplies over the long term. Bought my hot tub from them and many other things since. They just replaced my cover and I'm very happy with it. Staff is friendly and professional. Ray is just like my wife in the sense he's always right. He tried to steer us away from the lounger and we got it anyway. Shoulda listened to him.

We had a great experience with Back Yards of America. We purchased the Vita 18 ft. swim spa.
It is great and is serving us soooo well. We use it at least twice a day to both exercise and relax in.
Ray was very helpful in educating us on the use of and advantages of the swim spa.
We have had zero problems over the last months since our purchase, and Ray has always been there to answer all of our questions.

C'ant say enough about Sundance Spa and Backyards of America. We bought the pictured Sundance spa more than 30 years ago. It still works. It may be the most reliable thing we ever purchased. In 30 years, we replaced the heating element one time. Amazing performance. We bought our supplies from BOA as well. We just purchased a new Sundance Spa from BOA. Thank you Sundance and Ray from BOA.

We are very happy with our decision to go with the Sundance brand spa. The quality and features combined made this the best decision for us. Back Yards of America made the purchase experience very pleasant. They answered our many questions and we really appreciated their patience with us spa "rookies". We purchased the Marin with a couple upgrades and it's a beautiful addition to our back yard deck remodel project. The delivery went as planned. Quite the sight watching the crane lift the spa over our house and gently set in place. Hopefully we can post a follow up pic of our completed back yard

We did our homework and having had a lesser brand hot-tub in the past from a different local vendor we really did not want to go through the headaches of dealing with a leaking hot-tub among other issues.
Ray was great to work with. He helped us select a model that met all of our wants (and more) and our family size (and more). And as a nice bonus they were able to deliver and set-up the hot tub three days sooner than they originally scheduled.
I would definitely recommend a Sundance Spa and Backyards of America
