I had every moving new yorker's nightmare. my movers canceled on me two nights before i was scheduled to move at the end of the month. i really didn't know what i was going to do. none of my friends can drive, i had a bunch of delicate furniture pieces, and it was the night of the 30th.

We used Sach and his team recently to move a few large pieces of furniture from a 2nd-floor walk-up into a 3rd-floor walk-up, and we also used them to move our upright piano last fall.

I rarely give vendors a review, only if their results are especially good or bad. Sach's Movers deserves 5 Stars, for sure! Sach himself is a terrific person to deal with--friendly, knowledgable and a straight shooter. His crew showed up on time (even a bit early) and moved quickly and efficiently to move everything from our apartment to two other locations. Sach himself was on the truck while the movers did their work; it was very helpful that he oversaw the move himself. Although I suggest giving Sach as much information as possible about your move ahead of time to make it go well,

My move was complicated: moving from a house to an apartment half the size. Sach, Chris, and the crew were amazing! The right stuff went to storage, the right stuff - to the new place. I have used Sach’s Movers 4 times over the last seven years! NYC - New Jersey - NYC - NYC (different apartment) – Rockland County. Love these guys because 1.) it’s a small business operation and you get personalized service 2.) punctual 3.) efficient 4.) They are careful w your belongings as they wrap all fragile stuff in blankets 5.) courteous. 6.) reasonably priced. I think the fact that I used these guys so many times speaks for itself!

Sachs and his team were great. Personable and professional. Gave us a quote quickly and adjusted the quote down to meet our budget (we had them just move the big stuff). There were two minor bruises from the move that he gave us credit for (without us asking). Overall I recommend them for professional moves.

Sach’s movers are absolutely the best. They helped us with a move and were flexible when we needed to change the date at the last minute. They were so quick and efficient as well!! I previously used movers from taskrabbit and got taken advantage of in regards to the cost. With Sach’s everything was clearly communicated, affordable and they were extremely professional. I feel like they saved us a lot of headache and I will certainly use them again in the future if need be. Thank you so much for your help!!!

Sach and his crew were AMAZING!! If I could give more than 5 stars I would. They were extremely professional, on time, accommodating and very friendly. We are a family of 2 adults and 3 children and moved from an apartment to a house. We had a lot of boxes and heavy items and Sach, Willy and the crew treated everything with care and ease. They were quick yet cautious with all of our items bringing everything down our 5 flight of stairs. I’ve never had such a great experience with service like this one. These guys have moved my husband and I three times! We keep using their services because they are fantastic. They are fast and meticulous. We have a house full of glass, mirrored and white furniture. Every piece has made it through the move in perfect condition every time!

Best movers ever!!!! I would 100% recommend Sach and his team. They moved my stuff in a very efficient manner and were also very attentive to detail. The previous moving company that I used broke my tv stand and a few dishes. This company did not break anything and they even helped me arrange the furniture before they left!

My husband and I have used Sach movers twice- once leaving Manhattan for NJ, and a second time moving to a different area in NJ. A good friend recommended them, and we were not disappointed. Not a thing broken, and the utmost care for all of our things while also loading and unloading at an incredible pace. They are very efficient, professional, and excellent movers. We plan to stay where we are for awhile, but the next move I'll be hiring them again. High quality customer service.

Packing and moving things: they're so efficient and quick. And when the elevator at my new place was broken they didn't blink and eye and got everything up there!
Price: I underestimated what I needed moved in our quote, so when Sach came up to reassess I assumed it would be so much more expensive and he gave a very reasonable quote. And that broken elevator? He had to charge me to get my things up there but even then he offered me a great deal. He didn't have to do that what else would I do but pay w/e he asked?

Wow, this is the best moving company EVER! Sach came to my home exactly when he promised, gave me a fair quote and I could just tell that he was an honest, friendly, smart, hard working person. I hired him (I had interviewed 5 other people, and he was by far the best!). He and his crew packed my home efficiently and carefully. And they moved me the next day. They didn't only arrive on time, they came early and were ready to work. I can't say enough about Sach and his crew. I felt totally comfortable stepping out with them in my house, and was incredibly impressed by the professionalism

Can a move ever be pleasant? In this case, yes! A million times yes! Sach and his crew were swift, helpful and caring. Our move was really intense. We have a baby and we knew we could not do any packing on our own. Sach and his crew packed everything. EVERYTHING. It was amazing. As they were working, Sach even said that he was going to leave some toys in the crib so the baby would have something to connect to that evening when everything else was in boxes.
We also had them move and unpack us. We spent the day in our new home watching them work. And when they were done, we felt like we lived there

My husband and I are so pleased by Sach's movers. From the beginning Sach made sure to call me to go over the quote and answer all questions I had. I had contacted multiple moving companies too and Sach gave me the most reasonable quote. They called the day before our move to confirm the time and even showed up early. Sach's workers were all great. Very professional yet friendly. They took care into moving our belongings whether it was boxes or huge furniture. It's often difficult to find a moving crew you can trust. You spend several hours filling out quotes, talking to people on the phone, reading yelp reviews and asking friends for referrals.
I found them on yelp because they were located near where I was moving to and it was the best decision I made.
Sach's spoke to me several times over the course of a few days and thoughtfully asked questions about our move. It was at this point that I realized it was a no brainier to move forward with them.

I can't not say enough positive things about Sach's movers! They arrived right on time and ready to go. They were extremely organized and quick! His 3 other men were also fantastic! They were careful with everything they moved and had a great system! They did not break or scratch not one thing!

Yet another glowing review! I was moving my bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen stuff from one roommate situation to another, both in Washington Heights, and found Sach's movers on yelp. Best thing I ever did! It got complicated, because the place I was moving into needed a major cleanout - The friend who lived there before collected every kind of music, with thousands of LPs, hundreds of CDs, DVDs, and books. We got a quote from 1-800-gotjunk, and Sach was cheaper, and amazingly efficient. He sent five people, and it took them four hours, but everything was done, and done well. We then hired them

After calling a few places and doing some research and of course reading a few reviews which only made it worse. I came across Sachs while I was searching on yelp (already a week into my search) it was just by chance. I read on and seen rave reviews. I decided then, this was the place based on my fellow yelpers.
