Slava's team was incredible. They are efficient and proficient in what they do.
They used extreme care and wrapped our furniture with precision. They were punctual and didn't stop working the whole day. I'm glad we hired them and will hire them again in the future. We also had a piano in the move which is no easy task and they handled it with extreme care.

We have used Elate Moving twice. Â Once to move across the country from California to Connecticut. Â They were amazing. Â Just amazing. Â Everything went smoothly and they went above and beyond in many ways. Â That was in 2017.
We just used them again (in 2021) to move across town and had a different experience.  They wrapped things well and got everything to the new house undamaged. However, the crew leader was curt, sometimes rude, unprofessional, and not willing to do all that we asked, even though they finished in 5-6 hours (the original estimate was for 8) and charged us the full amount

I was relocating from NYC to Toronto and was in need of movers who could understand the logistics of moving between countries, provided good service, were professional, and were responsive. This is exactly what Elate Movers provided.

My mother relocated out of Manhattan and had to move EVERYTHING! I was so impressed with the movers' attention to detail, care and thoughtfulness employed with each and every piece they wrapped. Her furniture is mostly antiques and irreplaceable. Not a scratch could be found on anything after all was said and done. They were able to pack up her entire apartment and get it loaded onto a truck in less than 3 hours and we are talking about an apartment that has heavy solid wood furniture.

From start to finish, our move from NYC to Ontario was seamless thanks to the team at Elate Moving. We first learned about Elate Moving via direct mail. NICK was very prompt in responding to our request for a quote. He also provided excellent guidance on the process and paperwork needed for transporting personal effects across the border. SLAVA and his team were extremely professional and efficient. They took great care in packing and moving our belongings. Slaven and his team did a great job packing and moving all of the stuff that we had crammed into our 2 bed 2 bath apt. We moved to the apartment building next door. So they decided to not use their truck and use dollies to move everything. The packing took the morning and the move started at noon. They all wore masks. They were finished moving everything around 2:30pm. We didn't pay for unpacking services.
I had gotten quotes from 2 other moves- Piece of Cake and Roadway. Elate was by far the cheapest. And also recommended by good friends.

In the past 8 years we have moved 5 times. For the moves we have done that originated in the NYC metro area, we have used Elate and for anybody moving in the NYC metro area that doesnt use Elate....you may be crazy. In total we have used Elate 3 times and they are consistently head and shoulders above other moving companies in terms of quality of service and ease of transaction. They are the best packers of furniture and large fragile items I have ever seen. Other movers we have used routinely break or damage a small portion of our stuff. Not Elate. We had them do everything from full packing to unpacking and putting up TVs. Moving is expensive, and we've moved enough over the past 20 years to know it's worth paying more for less hassle sometimes. Max and the guys were very accommodating while I was a little stressed and confused about what was going or staying. They were professional, courteous, and thorough; they worked two full days with us, with our dog, cat, and kids around the whole time. Everyone wore masks and they made moving in a pandemic less stressful than I had worried it would be. I would definitely use Elate again

I've moved 6 times in the last 15 years and Elate is the only company I would feel easy about using again. So far, nothing missing, one coffee cup chipped. That's it. My last move resulted in 5k in damage. Elate, almost none. They're great. Easy to arrange, finished 15 minutes later than they said they would (and that's really insignificant). It's been one week since I moved, and I'm very nearly settled. They were awesome.
Try to get Vladimir and his team. I also recommend the unpacking service. You won't have to deal with all the boxes and packing paper.

Max and his team did an INCREDIBLE job. On time, professional, courteous, and quick. They disassembled furniture, carefully packed everything including hi-end stereo equipment, and unpacked at the destination with similar efficiency.
They were not the cheapest quote - but, with all the horror stories about moving companies, they came highly recommended, and did not disappoint. And, during a pandemic, they were masked, and careful.
I would recommend them without any reservation - ask for Max's crew.

These movers are the best and I have moved many times in the past 5 years. I used them to move from Weehawken to Guttenberg. They were on time, quick, professional and handled my things with care. They listened to my instructions with certain items and carried them out perfectly. I needed an accommodation to use my own truck - no problem. Fees were reasonable no hidden cost. Everything upfront. I used them again for a storage move. Again, fantastic courteous service. I have another storage move in the next few weeks and I will be calling on them again. I'm so relieved I chose Elate to move my one bedroom apartment to another. Igor and his team were efficient and handled all my belongings with care. Furniture was wrapped, boxes were taped extra if they think needed. They took about 2 hours to load everything into the truck but considering it was a walk up it takes more time. At my destination it was a breeze for them to unload my belongings. I would choose to use them again in the future.

Absolutely excellent, highly recommend!!! Moving all of our furniture and disassembling a 120 pound L-shaped desk from our one-bedroom apartment, something that would've taken my girlfriend and I multiple hours, took the Elate Moving team 45 minutes. In under 3 hours, their team of 3 movers had moved all of our furniture from our one-bedroom to our new studio apartment in White Plains - everything in great condition and handled with the utmost care. My girlfriend and I had packed all our belongings in advance, but we were very nervous about moving our furniture, and Elate took all the weight

I moved from Connecticut to New Jersey in April. Elate Moving was the best choice. Professional and courteous service from the estimator to the movers. They took wonderful care of my possessions. I just moved from New Jersey, USA to Toronto, Canada and hired elate moving company to help me with moving my 1 bedroom apartment. The movers were awesome. I had my stuff delivered to the new place within 24 hours. The team was led by Andrei. Following were the pros for the move:
