From a time when trees stretched from the eastern coast of North America to the great plains, forests thousands of years old composed of red and white oak, black walnut, heart pine, longleaf pine, cherry, hickory, maple and more built every structure in America.We have reclaimed and repurposed the hardwood from these old buildings and given them new life.
New Life Hardwoods uses only 100% recycled old growth wood taken from these old structures and buildings like houses and barns. We then remill this material into tongue & groove flooring, paneling and more. By doing so, this historic and valuable resource is then preserved for future generations.

It now seems unfathomable, but most of the North American continent was once covered in a primeval forest thousands and thousands of years old that was roughly the size of the Amazon River Basin. Giants formed a canopy high above. The trees that survived and flourished had to win the competition for sunlight and rain.

Pat Hicks and his team at New Life Hardwoods are the best. We had a flood in our split-level home from the laundry room that quite literally spilled over into our den, kitchen and the bedroom/bathroom below. I was so fearful we could not match the gorgeous quarter-sawn oak from 1960 that was in the rest of the house. Pat Hicks was able to find reclaimed wood -- an exact match -- for our home, and his team installed and finished them beautifully.
