Josh and his team are phenomenal. I had a general contractor misrepresent himself and leave me with a huge mess of shoddy work, that wasn't permitted, and full of violations. Untangling the violations and having the work brought up to code was so complicated that I hired Josh to reverse engineer the work and permitting process. He know the codes inside out, he knew the order in which to remediate the work, scheduled the inspections on my behalf (some inspections failed multiple times because they would find more work that wasn't up to code), and worked directly with the City of Seattle Department

This is my first review. Ever. I called up Josh with the intent to hire someone to help us draw up some plans for a small project so that we could get the necessary permits. I explained the project to Josh and he immediately told us that we did not need a permit and that we'd be wasting time and money in doing so. I'm a total noob to this whole city/county permitting process and Josh spent a good 20min on a crash course of whats involved. Honestly was blown away by the level of advice and service he gave to a TOTAL STRANGER. He could have said "yes I'll do those drawings" charged us a fee and we

I hired Josh from Josh Architects last year for a walk-through on a recently purchased home here in the Northwest.
