My hus-band and I moved into our home just over two months ago and have loved every minute of it. We fell in love with the mod-el home the first day we walked through. Just a brief note to let you know how hap-py we are in our new home at Mau-reen High-lands.

I have had a nightmare of an experience buying a new home with Harbour Homes. At the time of closing of the house there were several issues many of which have not been resolved to date. The experience interacting with your associates (site supervisor and inspector in particular) have been appalling to say the least. I deeply regret buying a home from your organization putting my life savings into it. It's been a month since we moved into the house and the main door came off the hinges while opening almost causing an accident. The warranty inspector has been really arrogant and dismissive in our

Buyers beware! This company does not build a quality home. They take many short cuts and use low grade materials to save a buck. Our home as well as 7 others in our small subdivision have all had costly repairs/replacements on the roofs and windows due to the poor "craftsmanship" of
this builder. Harbour Homes should know better, since they have been in the PNW for some time... You cannot cut corners in our climate! Buyers keep in mind wood rot is expensive to fix!

Having lived in our home for almost two months, we have discovered many corners that were cut to save a buck. The paintwork in the home is minimal at best (a thin coat of primer only) and very limited low voltage wiring for audio and video/entertainment needs. My advice would be to do your homework before choosing a newly constructed home; research the builder as much as possible since quality of work varies greatly from builder to builder.

One of the worst post recession builders out there, some of the stuff they do is straight up unethical. Filthy, hazardous job sites, with the most neglectful superintendents.... Not once have we showed up to the job site that was actually ready. Every time the frame is crooked, the floors are crooked, the walls are crooked and the whole job site is always filthier than a pig pen. As a freelance contractor I would rather buy an RV than a Harbour home for the same price.

We bought our house in 2012 in the Westlake Heights neighborhood and couldn’t have been happier. Great open layout that made it feel bigger than it was. The Buying process was easy and all the presale options were great and allowed us to really make the house ours. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a home.

On 7/17/15 on 5/2/16 280 days later they want to give us our Ernest money deposit back at no fault of ours. we have ask for them to extend our contract because we want the home but they see the home has appreciated in value they stand to make 20 to 30,000 more by reselling the home. And telling us to take a hike after 11 months and the home still is not complete. But we still are willing to wait for it. We were scheduled for a quality walk thru on May 20, 2016 to close on May 31st.
